Chapter 20: Showing her around

Jason POV

I've been taking Eramis around the tower for a bit now. I'm going to show her around the central area and show her around there.

Jason:" this is the main courtyard where you meet the main vendors"

Eramis:" huh"

Shaxx:" Guardian?"

I recognize that stoic voice anywhere, I don't removed the last time I talked to Shaxx.

Jason:" Hey Shaxx how are you?"

Shaxx:" I am doing well guardian, I wish to ask who this is with you?"

Jason:" This is Eramis the Kell of the House of Salvation. Eramis this is Lord Shaxx responsible for the Crucible"

Shaxx:" I hope we've resolved our species differences for this new threat then I hope"

Eramis:" Only while this queen is a threat I will tolerate your kinds presence"

Shaxx:" Why does she seem okay with you then Guardian?"

Eramis:" He's my mat-"

Jason:" Don't need to tell him that!"

Shaxx: " Never thought you were the type to date another species guardian"

Jason:" Thank you Shaxx..."

Shaxx:" I have no problem with it I apologize if that sounded rude"

Shaxx:" Your size and 4 arms must help you in battle against foes?"

Eramis:" I suppose it does"

Shaxx: "Love can truly bloom anywhere can't it. I enjoy a story about star crossed lovers more than most"

Jason:" It's been great taking to you but I think we need to go check out other things now I'll talk to you later"

I grab Eramis and walk away to get away from the questions from shaxx. I love Shaxx as much as the next guy but I don't want to hear his constant questions about my relationship.I forget how mich he's into romance stories and stuff.

Jason:" wanna get something to eat? I know a great ramen place"

Eramis:" I doubt they have ether here but I'll still come with you"

We walk towards the ramen shop near Praksis and Ikora and we arrive in a minute or two.

Ramen chef:" Jason! It's good to see you again, it's been a whi-"

I see his face look up at Eramis and I can't say I'm not surprised to see his reaction like this.

Jason:" This is Eramis"

Ramen chef:" I... see. Well you want the usual Jason, and can I get anything for you miss?

Eramis just turns her head away and I nod to the chef. I sit down in one of the stools and I pat down next to me signaling Eramis to sit next to me. She accepts my offer and sits down next to me.

Eramis:" You talked about this place before on Europa. I take it you came here a lot"

Jason:" Yeah I did! Back then me and my friend Cayde-6 came here to eat lunch everyday for a solid year"

Eramis:" You talk about this Cayde-6 a lot. Who was he"

Jason: "He was probably the closest friend I ever had. He was the Hunter Vanguard for a while until he... was killed"

Eramis:" by who?"

Jason:" Uldren Sov... he was during the prison of elders escape that happened a few years back. I know you were imprisoned there and you escaped during the first prison break. I just miss him... a lot he was a brother to me and now he's gone"

Eramis then wraps two of her right arms around me and pulls me into her body comforting me. I enjoy the warmth of the massive Eliksni and I lean against her. The noodles are done and she slightly released her grip on me so I could eat.

Time skip:

I've finished my Ramen and we start to walk towards Praksis to see if the tech is done with being fixed.

Eramis:" Report your progress Praksis"

Praksis:" We are done Eramis... we have made the range off the vex transponder greatly increased. Now vex won't be able to teleport within the entirety of our Houses territories.

Eramis:" I thank you for your efforts Praksis and yours as wells.... Guardian"

Ikora: "Happy to help"

Jason:" we gonna leave back to Europa now to install it to make it effective?"

Eramis:" Alert the Ketch, we're heading home now"
