Season 2-Chapter 1: Mars

A/N: I don't own destiny, Well here's season 2 of this series i may start doing longer chapters to see if I like it better. I also can't write action that well and this stories not even an action book but I will go though the major fights with bosses and such.Oh well let's begin season 2!

Jason POV

Damn it's been a bit since I've seen the red dust planet. About a year since it went away

I'm on the surface of the planet and have been in communication with Mithrax and a reluctant Eramis for about 20 minutes clearing out several buildings of hive. There are weird illusions of taken essence throughout that form some sort of alternate viewing into the old mars.

I cut away form the two of them to see if they will learn to get along.

Jason:" That was a bad idea wasn't it"

Ghost:" Yep"

Jason:"I'm sleeping on the couch tonight aren't I?"

Ghost:"Depends on how angry she is at you"

I hope there doing well

Eramis POV:

That frivolous pawn!

No cuddles for him tonight!

Originally we all landed in the same signal area on our skiffs but when Jason saw a group of thralls he laughed, waved goodbye, and said let's split up and just jumped off a ledge.

Why does he have to do this to me?

And why did to have to be him that I'm left with

I don't hate Mithrax and I don't see him as my enemy. But in living with the tower and swearing allegiance to their machine they have forgotten years of slaughter and massacre of our people.

I had to do it out of sheer necessity to deal with this new threat. But him

How can he not see past the genocide?

Mithrax:" You should not see me as the enemy Eramis"

Eramis:" I don't see you or your House as a enemy Mithrax I only see your allegiance as the threat"

Mithrax:" We have moved past that, we act as one and we are at peace finally"

Eramis:"They have slaughtered our people for thousands of years and killed countless innocents. You of all people should know what the tower can do to people"

Mithrax:" Then why do you keep a guardian within your grasp of all times, if you can look past that you should be able to forget the guardians past actions"

Eramis:" He.....He doesn't speak for the machine! He has sworn allegiance to House Salvation and has helped us several times"

Mithrax:" If you have this much faith in him you can trust the people of the traveler now surely"

Eramis:" Nothing good can come from following the Great Machine, it will only leave them like it left us"

Mithrax:" That will not happen again, i will make sure that won't come true. I want to make my Eido have a good life"

Eramis:"I want us to be gentle... I want us to become weavers and dancers once again, I can't see that happening with the machine as a guide"

Mithrax:" Then let me show you Eramis, you can have the Guardian guide you through what we have done to strengthen our bond. If you don't wish to side with the Light that is okay... but don't make a enemy out of us"
