Chapter 15: Campside chats

Jason POV:

It's been about a week since me and Eramis have gotten together and I've never been happier. I've moved some of my weapons into her quarters and she even had some Eliksni build a dresser for me to put clothes in. I've been on a patrol for the house trying to stop the Vex from gathering intel and taking over Europa. I've been back in action for a couple days now at my own request.

I see a group of Dregs on Pikes and I walk over to them.

Jason:" Are the vex taken care of In this region ?"

Pike dreg 1: " Yesss Jorvicks they are gone now"

Jason:" good job then, head back to the house and take the day off"

Pike dreg 2: " Thank you Jorvicks"

The group of 4 drive off and I see ghost appear next to me.

Ghost:" That's all the task for today guardian, you can relax now"

Jason:" huh, I actually have an idea of what to do"

Ghost:" and that is"

I pick up the Eliksni communicator from my waist and activate it.

Jason: " Eramis you there?"

I wait a couple of seconds but I then hear her pick it up

Eramis:" Yes, is there a problem my Pawn?"

Jason:" no we're all done for the day but I was wondering. Would it be alright if I head to the campsite and talk to that group again that's there, there some of my friends there and I'd like to talk to them"

Eramis:" You may, just remember who your loyal to"

She ended the last part with a teasing manner, I see she's been picking up my sarcasm now.

Jason:" Okay I'll see you later, Love you"

Eramis:" Love you too"

We both end the communication and I summon my sparrow and head off towards the campsite.

Time-skip

I arrive at the campsite to see the security bots are gone and all that remains is Exo stranger, Eris morn, and Drifter. I also still see the snowman me and Eramis built.

Jason:" Wellll look who's back"

I get off the sparrow and walk over to him giving him a hug.

Drifter:" Good to know ole Eramis hasn't done you in yet"

Jason:" Yeah, I don't see that happening anything soon"

Eris :" I wasn't expecting you to arrive here"

Jason:" Eris, oh how yoh hurt me so with your words"

Eris : " there is something off about you guardian"

Exo stranger:" I sense something is different about you as well, did anything happen recently?"

Jason:" yeah... about that"

Jason:" Don't freak out whatever you do, I'll just show you"

I then focus energy to my right hand and manifest my stasis Scythe. The weirdest thing is that they only look confused about this, not down right shocked.

Drifter:" Wait a minute... is that Darkness?"

Eris:" It would appear so. This is not entirely unexpected for this. But I must say it's fascinating"

Exo stranger: " I must admit I was expecting this to happen. Come inside we can discuss this more comfortably"

We all walk to the inside of the camp and they all get in a semicircle.

Exo stranger:" I knew that in order to prevent the dark future form happening another guardian must get the power of Darkness first before... her... but that's not important"

Eris:" What this shows is that it is possible for a guardian to wield darkness. I can sense something dangerous is on the horizon and we all believe that this might be the best weapon we have against it"

Jason: "So your not gonna kill me"

Drifter:" No we ain't, this is to good not to pass up on"

Jason:" That's a relief"

Exo stranger:" We will try to get Zavala to hear us all out because this may be our best chance"

Drifter:" Hey I'm wondering something...How did Eramis grant you that power so easily"

Jason:" funny story actually about tha-"

Drifter: " She gave it to you because she loves you huh" *starts laughing*

I freeze right there, the only people that know about our relationship is ghost and Kridis.
So I just stand there frozen for a bit and as drifter's laughter dies down he looks back at me.

Drifter:" Wait a minute... Did she actually?!?"

Jason:" Uhm...I'm gonna head out now I'll talk to you guys later!"

I run out and hop on my sparrow and head back towards Riis-Reborn. Trying to escape from the awkward conversation that would have happened.

Why you gotta be like this Drifter

Drifter POV

Drifter:" He's actually dating Eramis now????"

Exo stranger:" The universe is a weird place isn't it"
