Chapter 31: You think this'll work?

Jason POV

It's been about an hour since Eramishas called Mithrax and it's got me all worried. I'm worried about a full on war between houses. I know Eramis doesn't want that as well which is why she's currently gone and meeting with Mithrax.

I've been pacing back and forth for a good bit now and some Eliksni have noticed. Atraks-1 came up to me and we talked for a bit but she had to leave because there was a panel that fell off her leg and she needed it to be repaired. Kridis walked by and I basically just nodded to her. And Praksis being Praksis was at his workstation in Technocrats iron.

After about 1 more hour I finally see a message pop up on my holo display from Eramis telling me to alert Kridis and tell her to gather the house in the central hall(that's where you see them in the intro cutscene). After seeing that I begin to walk towards where Kridis was heading and I see her talking to a Eliksni couple holding their child. After their done I walk up to her and poke her upper leg.

Jason:" Eramis said to gather the house in the central hall before she returns"

Kridis:" understood, go get Atraks-1 and Praksis while I get Phylaks and the rest of the house"

I follow her orders and begin the process of gathering up the House Salvations lieutenants plus Atraks.

Time-skip

This is incredibly boring

After staring at the crowd of Eliksni from above the platform looking out the large windows to the frozen tundra beneath. It's been about 20 minutes of nothing happening and just noise from Eliksni speaking to themselves. I'm located on the far right next to Atraks-1 who's on the furthest right. Next to me is Kridis, Praksis , and Phylaks but there's a space in the middle left for Eramis.

I can also see Sirikis, one of Eramises trusted captains is remaining by the back door for security purposes. I'm confused to why they would need security like that for a place that has some very powerful Eliksni. I turn to Atraks to speak my thoughts to pass the time.

Jason:" Why would there be security for a place like this. Who's dumb enough to try to infiltrate this meeting"

I look up to the purple optics of the fallen Exo and I can hear her chuckle lightly.

Eramis:" If I recall correctly... didn't you do exactly that?"

I hold up my hand about to reply to her statement before I remember she's absolutely right.

Jason:" Oh......... yeah... right"

She then starts to chuckle even more but it's still kinda hard to hear from the crowd.

Atraks-1:"We didn't kill you though"

Jason:" that's a plu-"

I stop talking when I hear the translation system fire up from beneath us. The crowd of Dregs, Vandals, and Captains quiets down as the sound of their Kell arriving.

I see her emerge from the steps and looks up to the platform we are all on. She then jumps up and due to Eliksni anatomy she's able to reach the platform with one small jump. Eramis then turns around and looks down at the House, she then begins to start talk after some silence.

(a/n: I'm terrible at writing speeches but here goes nothin)

Eramis:" House Salvation has united the houses and has finally found their new home on Europa. We've all witnessed horrors... whether from a young age or even more recently. But we've all made through it"

Eramis:" And now a new house has arisen names House of Light, and they seek to form with the Tower and join earth"

As she said that the crowd begins to look at each other in confusion.

Eramis:"I don't know why that murderous Mithrax would ally with them in his own will, but he has. I wish for nothing than to see him fall but I know that we cannot fight without loosing heavy losses"

Eramis:" And with the help of Humanity it would be even harder than normal"

Kridis:" What does this have to do with the meeting my kell"

Eramis:" Mithrax and I have agreed to meet at the center of Cadmus Ridge tomorrow... I will have my lieutenants accompany me as well"

She then looks over to all of us on the platform and then looks back.

Eramis:" We will discuss the terms of them leaving Europa and finding a new place to settle. With House Salvation growing more everyday we will need as much resources and space as possible"

Eramis:" Whatever happens... we will not bow to the House of Light!"

And with that the crowd then begins to talk and cheer as Eramis looked over to Kridis and told her to make the crowd leave.

So after about 10 minutes it's just me Eramis and the other lieutenants. She then turns around and she starts to speak as she looks outside of the window.

Eramis:" Be here by sunrise... you are dismissed"

With that Praksis, Kridis, and Phylaks jump down and go down the steps and tramsat away. Eramis is still looking out the window so I walk up beside her and look out with her.

Jason:" You think this'll work?"

Eramis:" it has to"

Jason:" It will... I trust you"

I then reach my hand up and grab her hand and squeeze it. She does nothing but squeeze it as well and we sit in silence looking out to the frozen land of Europa.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter I'm sorry it's taking longer to get these out I'm trying but it gets a bit harder to find time to write. I think this arc of the story is wrapping up soon so I have a few ideas to how to continue. If you guys want a remake to fix some details and give the relationship more time to grow I'd do that. If you also want the next season after this I'll do that as well. Well until next time peace.
