Chapter 35: The Awoken Queen and The Witch Queen

Jason POV:

Crow: "I haven't seen you here before... you seem to be a hunter like me, I'm cr-"

Blinded with shock and anger I grab my lord of wolves from my back and raise it against his head. He looks shocked and gives Mara a quick look and he looks back at me.

Jason:" Why are you alive! I killed you"

Crow:" I don't know what you mean! I've never met you before"

Jason:" Don't lie to me Uldren!"

His gaze then turns into confusion when he heard me say that name.

Crow:" I don't know who your talking about... I'm sorry if something happened before but I'm not this 'Uldren' man. I'm Crow and I've been working with the tower"

I see someone grab the barrel of the gun and slowly pull it down and I look to see Mara doing it.

Mara:" Crow you may now leave... Savathuns talked to you to much already"

I see 'Crow' give me a look before he turns around and takes his hood off and let's his hair out of it. I turn my head and gaze at Mara and I even though she keeps the same look on her face, I can sense there's a slight discomfort from he staring through my helmet. I can't blame her that much it's not the most comforting sight.

Mara:" How unguardian-like of you that was hmm?"

Jason:" Shut up you blueberry"

That comment seems to set Mara off a bit and her eyes seem to slightly glow a bit more than before. She roughly grabs the underside of my jaw and forces me to look at her.

Mara:" You will NOT address the awoken Queen like that! Understand?"

Jason:" You gonna tell on me?"

I smirk behind my helmet at her increasing anger towards me. Me and Mara haven't seen exactly eye to eye and it has to do with her attitude toward me ever since I first met her on the reef.

Mara:" Your a strong one guardian... one of the strongest I've ever seen. It's a shame you won't cooperate with me I could see is getting along very well~"

Is she flirting?

Jason:" I'm taken already! And get your hand off my jaw"

I grab her hand and her grip from my helmets chin is loosened. I look back to the crystal that Savathun is being kept in and look back at her.

Mara:" You don't talk to the Queen this way you ingrate!"

Jason:" I came here to speak with Savathun and not to talk to someone who doesn't seem to know how to condition there hair"

Ghost then appears in front of me and looks at both of us.

Ghost:" Okay can we stop this now and just continue on!"

Mara glares at me and I turn over to look back at Savathuns crystal. I step inside the room and I hear a voice then begin to talk through the air. Ghost then disappears

???:" Hello... Guardian"

Jason: "Your Savathun I'm guessing"

Savathun:" Yes I am, I know who you are Jason Ramsay... or is it Jorviks now?"

Jason: "How do you kn-"

Savathun:" I've watched you and the other Guardians for a while now. I must say you continue to make even me surprised Mr. Ramsay"

Jason:"I'm full of surprises I guess"

Savathun:" Yes, yes... slayer of gods,killer of my brother Oryx, the one to stop Siva, killer of Ghaul and Calus. And most surprisingly... a Lieutenant of a Eliksni House"

Jason:" You seem to keep up well, I haven't heard much about you "

Savathun:" You've seen what I've done though Guardian"

Jason:" What do you mean?"

Savathun:"Don't you find it strange how the ahamkara Riven was beg suing before you killed her?"

Jason:" Wait... did... you?"

Jason:" I'm order to put my plan into motion I controlled Roven and got her to due what was needed for it to work. I'm very sorry how you must feel about it... R.I.P Cayde"

Oh no... it all makes sense now. Savathun took control of Riven and she then pretended to me Mara that manipulated Uldren into killing....

The reason he's dead is because of Savathun

I feel my hand clench into a fist and look back at the crystal with a scowl behind my helmet.

Savathun:" It was just business nothing personal Guardian"

Jason:" I'm done here"

I start to walk and I hear Mara start to mutter a spell or something and the crystal goes silent and Savathun stops chuckling. I look at her and she walks up to me and stops

Jason:"What are you going to do?"

Mara: " We will conduct a ritual soon and banish her from Osiris the tower will warn you when"

Jason:" Got it"

Before Mara can speak back to me I walk to the portal and renter the H.E.L.M.

Ghost:" Transmatting in progress"

I get tranmated onto my ship and I enter the cockpit and look around to see a note on the window.

I look at the note and it read.

"Invite me over for cards some day, I'd like to see if Eliksni have better card luck than you"

I chuckle at the message firm Difter and set my course back to Europa, I have to tell Eramis about what's going to happen
