Chapter 14: Good Morning

Jason POV:

"Warmth"

That's the only thing I can feel at this moment. I have woken up from a nap that lasted about an hour or so and I find myself pulled against Eramis. Her chin is laying atop of my head and her 4 arms are still holding onto me. It's far more comfortable than I thought it would be.

I feel Eramis start to stir awake so I decide to stay there until she's ready. She lifts her head up from the top of my head and looks down to see if I'm still sleeping.

Eramis:" I see your awake"

Jason:" good morning Eramis"

Eramis:" how was your nap?"

Jason:" Best in a while"

Eramis:" glad to hear, we could stay here if you want we don't have much planned for the house today"

Jason: " As much as I enjoy being snuggled like this I think we should eat"

Eramis:" likewise "

She detaches her arms from me and gets out of the large bed. She walks over to what I think is a dresser with clothing in it. I see Eramis she's her cloak to the floor and start to lift up the garb on her chest. In a fit of panic of what I'm seeing I turn around immediately. I hear a snicker form behind me and continue looking at the wall until I feel Eramis pick me up in their arms.

Eramis:" You didn't have to look away my Pawn"

Jason:" Well it's uh- you know out of... respect"

I hear her laugh behind her mask and look back at me. She lets me down from her arms and im kinda upset of being let go from her arms but I'd never tell her.

Jason:" I-uh ghost, what day is it on Earth"

Ghost:" October 31 Guardian"

Jason:" Oh it's festival of the lost now"

Eramis:" Festival of the what?"

Jason:" Festival of the lost, it's a time where we honor the fallen guardians and dress up in masks and try to scare one another. Kids also go around and get candy from other citizens. It's based on a ancient human tradition called the halls between"

Eramis" Well... happy festival of the lost to you"

I can't help but smile at her always delivery if the phrase. I can tell she knows nothing of human traditions but I hope I can tell her some more and maybe she can tell me some Eliksni cultures.

Eramis:" There is one thing you need to do today though"

Jason:"What is it?"

Eramis:" You will move all of your things into my quarters. My lover will stay here with me and sleep at nights rest"

Jason:" Well I didn't really have anything to begin with so I'm basically already moved in"

Eramis:"Excellent, now there is one final thing I wish to share with you my mate"

I blush at the title she's given me. This is moving pretty quickly but I'm in no way opposed to it.

Jason:" What is it Eramis"

Eramis then gets down on a knee and hunches over to get to eye level. I see her hands reach for the mouth part of her mask. Her mouth is shown to me for the first time. She has a row of teeth inside of her mouth but also seems to have the ability to close them behind what I'm guessing is lips.

She then grabs my shoulders and gently presses her maw against mine. It's weird but a very good weird. This isn't a sensation I'm very used to but I can get used to it. Her lips I'd you could call them that are rough but to me, they felt like two clouds

She pulls back after about 10 seconds and looks back at me with love in her eyes.

Eramis:" Welcome home, Jason"

A/N: hey sorry this chapter took so long. I've been on a writers block for how to write more but I think I've got it down. I know she couldn't fully kiss you but it's the best I could think of to make it work.
