Chapter 5 : Proving loyalty

Jason POV:

I've been waiting here for a couple of minutes for this Atraks person to arrive and. I've just been thinking about how this will affect my future. Will I be shunned from the tower and declared a traitor for trying to help both species. Or will they accept the deal I made with Eramis and not want to murder me.

I hear footsteps behind me and I turn to see the purple eyed captain from earlier. For once it's a Eliksni who doesn't 'completely' tower over me who I'll be talking to. Her purple eyes are different from the other fallen I've seen. Her helmet is a normal captain helmet and she has the 4 arms.

Jason:" You Atraks?"

Atraks:" Yes, I've been instructed to lead you to Technocrats iron to meet with Praksis and discuss your new gear and your ghost"

Jason:" wait new gear, what happening to my gear I'm wearing"

Atraks:" I don't know but I've been told you'll get new armor so the dregs and vandals wont fire at you"

Jason:"So lead the way I guess"

She leads me back to the window and we turn a different way. As we're waking I see Eliksni sitting on the ground and taking to each other. I had no idea they were like this it's weird seeing them so human like in the way there acting.

Jason:" Uh, Atraks can I ask you something"

Atraks:" what is it?"

Jason:" I know it's definitely not normal for a human let alone a guardian to be brought into a Fallen house. But will everyone here be so okay with that idea?"

Atraks:"Eramis has chosen you to join us and break free from your chains of the great machine and it's definitely not normal for that to happen . And to answer you other question Eliksni are curious about you"

Jason:" Curious?"

Atraks:" Yes, they have no idea as to why Eramis did it but they not question Eramis, so they will await to see if your results are worthy of joining House Salvation"

I nod and we continue moving forward until we make it to Technocrats Iron. I would look around at the surrounds more if it weren't for the Eliksni giving me dirty looks. We finally get to Praksis who is holding my ghost in one arm and tinkering with a gun with the other arms.

He's still frozen

Atraks:" Praksis we are here"

Praksis: " Ah you are here machine follower, now to unfreeze that hand of yours"

He blast my hand and it makes the ice around my hand and my gun melt.

Jason:" Thank god, it was so cold"
