Chapter 38: The Witch Queen (Season 1 Finale)

Jason POV

Jason:"Did we... just loose"

The gravity of the situation has finally set in and it's the worse case scenario. The presence of that voice of hers was haunting. I look over to Eramis who had a soft look in her eyes before they scowled in anger.

Eramis:" You said this would banish Savathun!"

Mara:" It seems I've underestimated the witch queen"

Eramis scoffs angrily and walks away and towards the portal. I look to see Saint-14 holding Osiris in his arms and I look over to Mara.

Jason:"I need to head to the tower"

Mara:" Go! I will try to find out why this happened"

I start to run to the portal to see Eramis standing by there angrily I walk up to her and give tell her the situation.

Jason:" We need to head to the Tower and regroup with Zavala"

Eramis:" That would be the best course to head to... them"

We both transmat into the skiff and head out towards the tower.

Ghost:" I'll tell Zavala to assemble a meeting"

Jason:" good idea"

Timeskip

We both touch down at the courtyard and while we were walking to Zavalas office and we head down the elevator. Eramis had to hunch over to fit properly and after a few seconds we arrive at the bottom. I decide to take off my helmet and clip it onto my belt.

The doors to Zavalas office were now open and there were quite a few people there. First was Lord Saladin, Ana Bray, Ikora, Zavala, and there were two holograms of Mithrax and one of a cabal that I haven't seen before.

Zavala:"Guardian what happened?"

Jason:" Savathun she... she escaped"

The mood has gone from confusion to dread in the matter of one sentence and I can see why. We have no idea what she could be doing now and where she is for the matter.

Ana:" Wha-what do we do?"

Zavala:" We... We must stand strong, we are all here to fight against Savathun and that's what we still going to do"

Saladin:" Agreed, there still must be some kind of clue to where she is"

Ikora:" We may just have one, there is some strange energy readings in our solar system"

Zavala:" It's a start.... Empress Caital can you mobilize some troops on Venus to scout"

That's her name then

Caital:" It will be done Zavala"

Zavala:" Now Jason, I want you, Eramis and Mithrax to keep a eye on any new activities and respond to the-"

Ikora:" Wait, reviving transmition from a scout"

Ikora's ghost appears and I hear some message being played to her but there's one main thing I heard from it all.
