Chapter 29: A New House

A/N: Sorry it's been a while since I've uploaded a new chapter I've just been busy. I also have some news about the story that I'm gonna post sometime tomorrow probably. Enjoy

6 months later

Jason POV

I was currently helping Praksis develop a new weapon. I've been helping him out with it and gathering things around his lab for the past few days. He says it's a way to harness stasis and be able to launch it from a grenade launcher. He's putting the finishing touches on it when it ignites and sparks out.

Praksis: *curses in Eliksni*

Jason:" Damnit"

The hun stops sparking and Praksis picks it. Up and puts it on the wall on a mount.

Praksis:" Perhaps another day is needed.... Yes, it is needed. Return tomorrow  and we will continue"

Jason:"Got it, see ya around Praksis"

I wave goodbye and start walking out of Technocrats Iron. It's been about 6 months since the vanguard have warned about Savathun and there's not many signs of her at the moment. I haven't heard much from Zavala, Ikora sometimes messages me asking if things are going well.

My main source of insight on any new outings at the tower has been drifter. He recently told me that we've apparently made peace with a faction of the cabal. And the red legion no less according to drifter. He said that it was Calus's daughter that has now made peace with the vanguard and will continue to aid them. They seem to be on better terms with them then they are with Eliksni. Who knows maybe it'll get better.

My daydream is stopped by someone grabbing my attention I front of me. I look up to see that it's Atraks-1 and she looks like she has a message for me.

Jason:" Hey Atraks, is there something you wanna tell me"

The Exo captain squats down so she's eye level with me before she continues.

Atraks-1:" You've been instructed to scout out Asterion Abyss there's some signatures of Ether there not belonging to us. So it's another Houses Eliksni, Eramis had instructed  you to go find them and guide them here safely"

Jason:" Can do"

She gets back to her full height and begins to walk away. That's weird... why is there more Eliksni here from a different house. Ah well I guess I'm gonna find out. I have ghost call in my ship before I transmat onto it. I then put in the coordinates and travel toward the signal Atraks gave me.

After about 20 seconds I arrive at Asterion Abyss and I'm looking around on my hud trying to find them. After looking for a bit I finally find a small little cave and my map seems to be pointing there. I decide it's probably best to put away my weapons for this so as to not scare them. I slowly make my way to the cave to be met with a group of Eliksni citizens huddled up in the cave. There  are children wrapped in blankets and put around in bandolier like sashes.

As they see me they immediately get scarred due to the fact they only see my silhouette so they think I'm a normal hunter. I immediately activate Ghost's light and put my hands up shaking im no threat.

Jason:" Hey, hey it's alright... I'm not gonna hurt you"

Eliksni 1: "Dont hurt... Why you here?"

Jason:" I'm with House Salvation, I was sent to help you"

They all start muttering to each other and begin talking to each other. I don't understand much Eliksni language but all I heard was something about 'Salvation' and 'Light'.

Eliksni:" We have house, Mithraxkel is with us. No help required"

They spoke in a very worried tone like I'm still going to hurt them. I turn around and I'm walking out of the cave when I sense something behind me at the top of the little cave. I turn around to see another Eliksni. There very tall about a few feet taller than me give it take. And there covered in Purple armor with all kinds of tech and wirings.

They jump down and are about to pounce on me but before they get to me Ghost transmat into my ship.

Jason:"Who was that?"

Ghost:" That might of been the Kell of their house"

Jason:" We need to tell this to Eramis"

I enter the cockpit of my ship and I enter the coordinates of Riis-Reborn approach. I sit in the chair and begin to wait.

Moments later

After a few moments I arrive at the entrance of Riis-Reborn and start to try to find Eramis. I look around for her but I can't find her. I eventually try to look at our bedroom and find her their stitching up her fur cloak/cape.

Eramis:" You return... any news about the Eliksni and are they here safe?"

Jason:" Yeah, about that... They are already apart of a other house"

Eramis:" A new house"

Jason:" Yeah and they mentioned something about Light and a fallen named Mithrax... that ring any bells"

I see Eramis stop and her 2 eyes go wide and she looks over at me slowly. I see her hand clench up and she starts to growl slightly.

Eramis:" Mithrax..."

A/N: im so sorry for not uploading I was just caught up with other stuff happening in my life. I also realized I've made a mistake. Eramis isn't at baron level height so she'd be more around 8-9 feet instead of 12. If you have any ideas for the story or anything or anyone you'd like to see I'd love to hear some recommendations.
