How sad is it to be relieved about feeling numb?
To wish on having that feeling above
any other feeling, including love.

To be thankful you're able to
sit in a quiet room alone.
Be able to think about nothing at all.

Not crave for someone's attention.
Not to constantly find yourself missing them.

Happy that everything around you
has all faded out and in these moments
Pain and past, isn't all you think about.

Ability to let go of something
you could never really describe anyway,
but for some reason to you, it mattered.

The silent moment to sit
Forgetting you're completely shattered.
