Words slipping through her fingers, like grains of sand. Her heart confused, begging for a soft place to land.

Afraid of all that could be.
Afraid of a future she cannot see.

She knows now for sure that it's too late.
There's no more discussion up for debate.

She allowed herself to fall for such a simple line.
One she's heard before at least a dozen times.

Fully aware of how much pain this all could cause her. She slowly steps away to avoid from falling any further.
