A toast to the ending.
& with every ending,
comes a new beginning.

Here's to hoping this year will be better than the last.
All the worries & heartbreak stay in the past.

A hopeful outlook, I'll try to have.
A shot for happiness, I'll take a stab.

Turn away from those who put me down.
The strength it takes
to not keep those people around.

Focus on finding myself again.
To be brave enough to take the helping hand.
