My father took the yellow Celica (it's a Toyota he's had for years) to take me to school. He was surprised when he asked me to get out of bed and saw that I was ready to go. Mondays always have that laziness, but today wasn't the case.

It's the beginning of May, the days are getting hotter and it's raining more. Today, it rained early in the morning, and when Dad drives in these conditions, he is always extremely cautious (anxious).

The car turns around the roundabout and go back to the other side of the avenue, turn right and pass the security barrier, go up the ramp and after 100 meters the vehicle stops in front of the Christian School.

There is an intense movement of students arriving from the weekend onwards.

''I hope you understand, Akari. It's for your good,'' says Haruki, in response to me staying here for a weekend (the end of Saturday and Sunday and not having to go home).

I look at the seat belt that restrains me. I'm trying to open the car door, but the lock is difficult. "I call you later, dad." I hug him and get out of the car.

Dad looks at me with a sad face. Part of this is my mother's fault, who keeps putting things in his head.

Maybe I'll understand if you give me these realistic reasons for not letting me go out, do normal things like any girl does, but you won't let me, right, even spend a week away from home?

As soon as I walk through that door, my real week begins.

''Hey, unnie!'', a female voice calls out to me before I walk through the automatic glass doors.

It's Kim Ga-Hee. Slim, long black hair, tall, 165cm almost. 11th student. She takes guitar lessons with Se-yeon, and then we exchange a few words.

''It fell from you, unnie,' she says, opening her hand.

I place my hand on my chest, looking for him, seeing my pendant with her.

"I didn't even realize it fell off me. Thank you!" I smile politely, a little surprised. Sometimes, some people surprise us. I expected Ga-hee to throw that away.

''I loved your black shirt.'' She greets.

It's just a black t-shirt with the name Lost soul on it.

''Thank you.'' I smile again, and then she enters the building.

I see my father standing outside the car, looking at me.

Ga-hee has low confidence around here, but she only ages like an idiot when she's with idiots. I have never experienced violent violence here.

I wave to him showing that everything is fine and I go straight to the cafeteria.

The place is busy, noisy and a little hot. Ji-hye and Se-yeon are facing each other at the table, on the right side, ss always, telling each other how the weekend was.

''What's up!'' I prefer to stand, close to Ji-hye.

''You didn't even call me to cancel the date, unnie'', Ji-hye says, in a bad mood.

'Good morning, virgin'', Se-yeon also greets me and takes a sip of tea.

''Did you know I said no? I said no!'', I reply to Ji-hye.

''It doesn't matter! This weekend we're going to the cinema and then to a friend's house.'' Ji-hye gets up, putting her hands on my shoulders for me to sit down.
