Chapter 9: UA Sports Festival 6

" It's nice to finally meet you , Rin Tagekami "

Rin stared wide eyed at the man Infront of him.

Former US National Fighting Champ, and ex-VP of the Masters Foundation.
Ken Masters , wearing a hooded jacket that reaches below the knee and the sign "Eagle Shipping Company" ("E.S.C." for short) at the back of his jacket and has white folded sleeves that reaches through his mid-forearm. Underneath is a black tank top, red trousers with a loose gray drawstring and yellow high-top sneakers with blue linings at the back. Ken also wears his classic yellow gloves, along with a pair of black training gloves and a family necklace on his neck.

The blonde man extended his hand to Rin.
" Saw your match just as I got here, gotta say you fight just like your old man " he said.

Rin shook his hand and nodded , so as to hide his excitement and not embarrass himself Infront of The Ken Masters.

" Also I see you like the gift I sent for you " Ken said ruffling the young fighters hair.
" I knew that if you put that on then someone was going to recognize you , or actually you're father but you get what I mean " he said.

Rin nodded again.

" Don't just Stand there boy , you've got a match to prepare for right " Ken said smiling as he turned away.

Rin shook his head , causing the former champion to chuckle.
" Good luck little man I'll be watching from a distance " Ken said before disappearing.

Rin couldn't believe it....he just met one of his most looked up to people in the world....and he didn't even say anything.
But remembering his goal , he stopped and shook the excitement off.

" Focus on the tournament " he said to himself as he walked towards the changing rooms.

Though Damnd was still Shocked , he turned around and faced the blonde fighter.
" Alright Ken , why are you really here? "

* Back with the crowd *

" WOW!!! Momo Yaoyorouzu of 2-A is Going full Throttle on Hanta Sero of 2-A!!! " Present Mic yelled.

And true to his word , she was.

The Ravenette kept hitting Sero with different attack combinations , most of which barely used her Quirk and we're still effective.

Sero on the other hand had barely Dodged her attacks and desperately needed to turn this fight around.

" GET HIM MOMO!! " Mina cheered.
" YEAH!! " The other girls cheered as well.

" HANG IN THERE SERO!!! " Sato yelled.
" HANG IN THERE BRO!!! " The other boys followed.

The constant cheering from the classmates spurred the two combatants on.

Sero smirked , " Finally " he said as he shot two lines of tape at the Ravenette.

Momo created a shield and blocked it , but as soon as the tape made Contact with the shield , Sero pulled it over to him.
He then shot another Line of tape at her.
" It's over Princess " he said , sure of his victory.

However....

Momo just smirked and snapped her finger.
Sero heard a click and turned to the source , and on the shield was a flash grenade.

" Oh sh- "

The bomb went off , sending a blinding light and momentarily stunning Sero and some of the crowd members.

Momo knelt down on one knee and created a bean bag launcher on her shoulder. She aimed at her target and stayed still.

" Now it's over " she said as she fired a bean bag straight at Sero.
The projectile hit Sero in the gut and packed So much force that it sent him skidding across the floor and out of bounds.
