Bakugo Katsuki and Midoryia Izuku were sitting with a tired and injured Todoroki , there eyes glued to the combatants that were present on the field.

" So that leaves me and Tai Kwon tail as the last class 2-A students left " Bakugo said , sounding rather disappointed.

" At least you'll have an easier time winning hehe " Kirishima joked as he sat down next to the blonde.

The blonde of course blasted Kirishima as a result.

" But seriously though , looking at the remaining fighters down there , I'm quite scared for you kacchan " Midoryia said.

" What the!!! "

" He's right Bakugo " Todoroki added before he could interject.
" Those guys have broken a lot of physical limits from what we've seen "

Bakugo glared at the two.
" And what brings about the sudden doubt? " He asked through grit teeth.

Midoryia and todoroki's eyes were now fixed on the combatants again.
" Him "

Bakugo turned in their line of vision , and his eyes landed on the fighter known as Rin.

" Okay WHAT!!! " He yelled.

" Think about it kacchan , he doesn't have a quirk as far as present Mic has announced. And look at what he did to Kirishima with his fists alone! " Deku said pointing to Kirishima's bandaged arms.

Bakugo stared at his childhood friend/rival in disbelief.
" I've taken blows from your chosen ass quirk , so don't you fucking doubt me " he said angrily.

Todoroki scoffed and looked at him.
" That was the old you, Bakugo " he stated.

" What are you implying here!? " Bakugo asked , his palms crackling.

Todoroki pointed at a tall billboard picture of Bakugo but a year ago.
" I'm implying , that you're going to have to get that guy back to stand a chance against Rin " he said.

Bakugo grimaced , then he looked at his former self and at his upcoming opponent.
That Bakugo , the self proclaimed greatest , wasn't totally gone.

" You've been fighting like someone else the entire time kacchan. You can't win like that against him " Midoryia stated.

Bakugo wanted to retort , but the sound of Mt lady announcing round start had snapped his head towards the arena.

The match began with Rin and Daryl running towards each other.

Once they were in punching range , Daryl threw a heavy left hook.

To the blonde's suprise , Rin brushed off the attack with a swift block and countered with a rising axe kick.
It hit Daryl going up and a second time on it's way down.

Rin proceeded to end the exchange with a powerful side kick , powerful enough to send him skidding a few metres.

The crowd cheered at the short exchange , already anxious for the next clash.

Daryl smiled and tightened his cap before bringing his right hand down to the ground ,
" POWER WAVE!!  " he yelled as a wave of energy shot through the ground and sped towards Rin.

The fighter jumped over it , but realized his mistake a bit too late.
(" A set up!? ") Rin thought.

Daryl was now mid Air , he had jumped immediately after sending the energy attack , raising his leg and driving it down hard on Rin's skull.
" CRACK SHOOT!! " He yelled.

Rin dropped to the ground , getting up not a second later as Daryl continued his attacks.

" THAT'S SOME FIGHTING STRATEGY RIGHT THERE!! RIN WAS COMPLETELY TAKEN BY SUPRISE BY DARYL'S TWO WAY ATTACK!! " Present Mic had announced as the crowd yelled.
