"Ah, look who we have here!" Jimin greeted Taehyung and Jungkook with a very fake smile of mock amusement as he opened the door for them, stepping aside to let them in, "You guys are a little too early, don't you think? It's just a quarter till 11!"

"We're really sorry, hyung." While Jungkook looked genuinely guilty and apologetic, Taehyung didn't even bother verbally saying 'fuck off' to his best friend as he closed the door behind himself and took off his shoes, only flipping the bird at the guy - which earned him a light elbow on his bicep from Jungkook. "We stopped on our way here to have breakfast and-"

"We might've gotten a little carried away in the empty parking lot." Taehyung cut in with a shrug, finishing the sentence for Jungkook and casually coiling his arm around the boy's waist to pull him closer against his side as he planted a kiss behind his ear.

That unrestrained display of affection would've made Jungkook's cheeks red, but what rather did was how Jimin's eyes, possibly involuntarily, at once fell down to both of their crotches after what Taehyung said.

"NO! We were just kissing! It was just kissing!" Jungkook hurried to explain with his face on fire out of sheer embarrassment, wide eyed and panicked to wonder what Jimin was thinking they did.

"And a lot of touching." Taehyung added, and oh God, Jungkook needed a place to hide, right this instant.

"Okay, shut up! I didn't ask for details!" Thankfully Jimin groaned on his behalf, stopping Taehyung before he'd go on to say more. "You are disgusting, gah! Don't do such things in front of me!"

Taehyung cocked his eyebrow at his best friend who he knew was clearly only mocking them, and hence to tease him back some more, Taehyung deliberately tilted his head to press his lips right on Jungkook's in a loud peck with a 'disgusting' chu sound.

"I just did. What you gon' do about it?"

Taehyung sounded smug, bored even, whereas Jungkook's eyes were almost about to pop out of their sockets. He wasn't used to this. Well, of course he was used to kissing and being kissed in front of other people, but that obviously wasn't the same as this.

"I hate you." Jimin grumbled, his features scrunched in a grimace.

Taehyung only flashed a grin at him, "You can't even if you want to, Chimney."

"You-"

"Alright!" Jungkook finally spoke up, having had enough, as he forcefully got away from Taehyung, "You two can bicker all you want, but I still have a cake to bake. And we're already late. So, see you!"

He glared at Taehyung before turning away to head straight to Jimin's kitchen with big steps, ears burning some more to wonder if the two best friends were going to talk about him now.

As soon as he was in the kitchen though, without wasting any time on those thoughts, he quickly got down to business, starting to arrange everything he needed at the island, grateful that Jimin had already kept it all handy like he had asked. Then he pushed his sleeves up to his elbows, cleaned his hands properly, tied an apron around his waist and with a determined nod of his head, began the main baking procedure.
