Natalie wakes up earlier than Louis, but stays in bed a bit before getting up for the day. She looks up with her head on his chest, feeling the way it moves up and down as he breathes loudly through his mouth. There's a little bit of drool going down his chin and his hair stands in every direction, but his long eyelashes lay heavy on his cheeks and she thinks he's so beautiful.
She leans up to kiss his cheek and when he doesn't wake up, she decides to get up for the day and suprise him.
It's early and a Saturday, so she goes into the kitchen in just Louis' t-shirt. She makes him his favorite breakfast and some tea while she hums softly to herself. She hurries even though she doesn't think he'll wake up any time soon, she doesn't want him to wake up alone.
15 minutes later she has their breakfast ready. She goes into her room and gets her laptop tray to use as a makeshift table so she can put in their bed. She places everything on her night table in his room before waking him up.
She sits back on her heels as she moves closer to him and smooths his hair away from his forehead. She leans over him with one hand braced on the bed to support her weight. Louis not so subtly told her the other day that he likes to be woken up with kisses and well who is she to not oblige.
She places a couple of small kisses on his lips until she feels his lips turn up into a smile. She moves to kiss his nose, his cheeks, each of his closed eyelids, and his forehead before moving back to his lips.
This time, his mouth responds as he happily kisses her back. His hands find her waist and he squeezes her hips and pulls her onto him. She gasps and he slips his tongue into her mouth for a second before pulling away with a wide grin.
"Good morning," she says softly.
"Good morning," he says and he lulls his head to the side, trying to hide his wide grin and blushing cheeks.
It's funny how even though they've become so close, they still get nervous with each other from time to time.
"Did you make breakfast?" He asks, not hiding his smile this time.
"I did, and tea."
"You're the best," he says pulling her back down so her chest is pressed to his.
She stays like that for a minute, but then says, "Food's gonna get cold."
He nods and lets her go. She gets the laptop tray, sets it up over his legs and brings the plates over.
She sits down next to him, but he doesn't start eating. Instead he looks at her expectantly.
"What's up?" She asks, "Something wrong with the food?"
"No, of course not love. You're just too far away," he says with a cheeky grin.
"We can cuddle after we eat baby."
"Here," he says pushing the tray back a bit and motioning to the space between his legs.
She smiles and moves into him, her back pressed against his chest and his arms around her.
They stay like that as they eat, Louis dropped some food on her shoulder once or twice and then erupts into a fit of giggles so she can't really be too mad.
The food is long gone as Louis plays with her hair and they enjoy a lazy morning in bed.
"Any plans for today?" She asks moving her head to the side to look up at him.
"Hmm," he replies bringing his knees up to trap her and tightening his arms around her, "No." He sighs nosing into her neck.
"I might have an idea, if you're interested." She says.
