"Hey, would it be at all possible to pull over a second?" Louis asks the driver when they're on their way back from doing some pre-tour prep shopping.

"Uh sure, are you alright? Are you going to be sick?" He asks with concern.

"I'm fine just need to get something," he says hopping out of the car.

"Get something?" Liam calls after him, but Louis is already gone.

He runs back a few feet, picks a flower and the gets back in the van.

"Did you really just make him pull over to pick a flower?" Zayn asks incredulously.

"Yeah, Natalie said she loves pink flowers, but that they're hard to find wild ones that are pink. I had to."

"Awww," Liam coos and basically makes heart eyes.

They pull up at their house a few minutes later and Louis immediately goes inside to find Natalie. Fans had found out all of them were shopping, so they were all rushed into 2 different vehicles. Louis was quite sad he and Natalie weren't put into the same car and he made sure security knew it.

"I got something for you," Louis says, standing to face Natalie with his hands clasped behind his back and a wide smile on his face.

"At the shops? How? We were together the whole time."

"I made them stop somewhere else on the way home? Do you want to see it?"

"Yes, thank you baby."

"Don't thank me yet, you don't even know what it is." He says with a chuckle. He leans forward to place a kiss on her forehead.

"It's from you, I know I'll love it."

"Here," he says extending his arms out and pushing the flower to her. "I saw it on the side of the road on the way back! A pink one!" He says excitedly.

She takes the flower in her hands and looks up at him so very happily.

"You remembered?"

"Of course I remembered."

"Thank you Louis, thank you so much!" She squeals.

"Here you go," he says putting the flower into her hands.

She takes it from his hands but immediately pulls him into a hug, crossing her arms around the back of his neck and holding him tightly.

"You're too good to me," she says in disbelief as the pull away.

"Love, why would you say that?" He asks sadly, but she just turns to the side and curls into him. Her head resting on his chest and her side fitting against his. It's a small statement, but he can hear the weight it holds.

He moves so he can look in her eyes, hands on either cheek and bringing his forehead down against hers, "You deserve every good thing in this world." He says and kisses her nose.

Since it's Saturday and they have nothing going on, they end up laying in Louis' bed, playing on their phones. Natalie is a little spaced out, barely even paying attention to the game she is playing and mostly staring at the wall.

"What's going on in there?" Louis asks bringing his thumb up to where her eyebrows are creased. He rubs his finger gently back and forth to smooth the lines away.

"Nothing," she replies with a small smile.

He doesn't believe her, but he doesn't push her. He just lets it fall silent again but moves one hand to her waist, stroking up and down her soft skin as they lay on their sides.

15 minutes or so go by and she finally decides to speak her mind.

"I guess I'm just confused."

"About what love?"

"How you could go from hating me to where we are now." She asks quietly.

"I never hated you love, please don't say that. It kills me to know you thought that."

"Okay. Sorry, but how?" She asks cautiously. She isn't trying to push him, but she really just doesn't understand.

"I was so jealous and confused, I had never felt that way before. Never wanted someone like that before and I just went about it all the wrong way. I just didn't know what else to do and I wanted your attention like all the time, but I didn't know how to ask for it I guess." He says, trying to explain how he felt.

"Why didn't you just talk to me?"

"I got so nervous, and I saw you with Harry and I thought you wanted him. I clearly didn't handle it well," he trails,  "I regret it."

"Some of it was fun," she says trying to make him feel better.

"Yeah that's true, but a lot of it..." he sighs, "A lot of it I shouldn't have done."

He looks up at her and brushes his hands through her hair gently, "I'm so sorry lovely,"

"I'm sorry Natalie," he says so incredibly softly and sits up. She can tell this is really eating him up inside.

"I know, I know. Hey, it's okay." She says, moving to sit up as well. She moves her nose under his, trying to catch his eyeline. "It's okay Louis. I forgive you, I forgive you baby."

"But why? I mean why should you?"

"It's not like I was an angel either."

"No, but I was worse. You know I took it farther."

"It doesn't matter."

"Yes, it does," he says getting up from the bed, she didn't realize he was this upset by it. If she had, she never would have brought it up.

"Maybe at one time, sure, but Louis I'm over it. We're different now and it was annoying, but it wasn't all that bad. Don't be so hard on yourself," she says scooting over to the edge of the bed. She kneels on it and stares up at him, grabbing his arm to hold him in place.

"You didn't deserve that, you didn't deserve any of that. And now you're upset and I made it about me." He says, his hands pushing into his hair.

"I didn't know it was bothering you so much. I'm okay Louis, I am. It's okay," she says fisting her hands in his sweatshirt. She sits back and he seems to visibly relax as she keeps muttering things to him soothingly. She moves one of her hand to rub his arm, her thumb moving rhythmically back and forth.

"I think about it sometimes, how you would just always forgive me. You always forgave me, if I didn't give you trouble, it was just okay. You were so lovely, always so lovely."

She cuts him off, "You were too Louis, I know you didn't see it, but you were. Remember after that guy pushed me down? You took care of me, that's how. Because I saw the real you and I knew that other side of you that liked to bother me was," she pauses and shakes her head, "It was just something else, just a part."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah," she says softly, "I saw you, I see you."

"Thank you," he mutters and presses the smallest kiss to her lips.

"Come on, lay down again." She says and sits down, patting her lap. He looks at her confused, like a cute little kitten.

She chuckles and he gets up on the bed with the cutest lopsided smile. He plops down on her, practically sitting on her lap.

"Yes?" He asks.

She huffs and laughs. "I meant you can rest your head  in my lap," she deadpans, but a smile never leaves her face.

"Oh my mistake," he says cheekily and climbs off of her.

He lays down, facing her as she cards her fingers through his incredibly soft hair. It's one of the things she loves about him, she could probably do it all day long if he let her and honestly he might.

They fit together despite all their differences, which the more time they spend together the less they seem to have.
