"Hey Nat you busy?" Harry asks knocking on Natalie's door.
"Well I was very busy staring at the wall," she says sitting up from where she was laying on her bed, "But I could make myself available for you." She says with a smile.
She's been staying in Louis' room a few nights now, but she still hangs out in her room during the day from time to time.
"Why thank you. I was wondering if you want to have dinner together. I miss you." He says pouting.
He looks like a sad little puppy.
"Aw, I'm sorry Haz. I miss you too." She says getting up to hug him. "Can we watch a movie too?" She asks looking up at him, still in his arms.
"You always have the best ideas." He says with a dimpled smile.
"Let me just get changed." She smiles at him and he closes the door behind him as he leaves.
She's about to start changing when Louis knocks on her door.
"Hi baby, what's going on?" She says as he walks up to her and hugs her.
"Whatcha doin?" He asks, sounding like Isabella from Phineas and Ferb.
"I'm going to go watch a movie with Harry and have dinner."
"Noooooo," he says and pushes them both so they fall on the bed.
"Louis," she whines but giggles as he curls onto her like a koala.
"Can't go if I keep you wrapped up like this." He points out and moves his hand up to smooth her hair down.
She laughs and he nuzzles his head in her neck.
"Think I could come?" He asks peeking his head out to look a her with the biggest puppy dog eyes she's ever seen.
"I love hanging out with you, but no." She says and kisses him.
"You can't just turn me down and then kiss it better." He says and she can tell by his tone he's actually serious.
"You're right. I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it like that. I just don't like seeing you sad." She replies.
"I understand." He nods, but she can tell he's still upset.
"And it really isn't that I don't want to be with you right now, but I need to spend some time with Harry alone. I haven't been a very good friend to him."
"I'm sure that's not true, but I get it. You guys need some time." Louis says with a sigh.
"That's okay?" She asks as he lets her go and moves to sit up.
"Love, you don't ever have to ask for my permission for hanging out with your friend. I don't want you to, okay?" He says. That's not what he meant, he doesn't want her to feel guilty.
"You're not upset with me?" She asks shyly.
She knows he has a small tendency to be jealous and she would never want to do anything to hurt their relationship. She also knows he has no real right to tell her what to do and she doesn't need his permission, but she's still so new to this. It makes her feel insecure.
But at the same time Louis has makes her feel so comfortable, she doesn't really sensor how she feels or what she's thinking.
"Hey, look at me," he says sitting up and putting his hand on the side of her face, fingers curling around the back of her neck and the other on her thigh. "Thank you, for always thinking of me, but I trust you okay? And I'll see you tonight yeah? You're still okay with that?"
