A few day later Natalie wakes up abruptly to the absolutely irritating sound of Louis' voice what seems like right outside her door. She gets up to see if he in fact is right there or if his annoying voice is just loud due to his inconsideration for other human life.
She can hear him talking about a football match of all things, "Yeah, no I did see him make the goal."
She can only hear his side of the conversation as he continues.
"I know in the last 30 seconds, brilliant."
He pauses, she assumes whoever he is talking to is saying something back to him.
"Yeah we are definitely lucky to have him."
He is definitely not walking past, he's staying in front of her door on purpose.
She opens the door to find him literally leaning on it so he falls backwards. Before she can think about it her hands come up to his back holding him up and stopping him from falling.
"Why the fuck are you talking so loud in the morning right on my door?"
"Oh, Natalie didn't see you there."
"Really?" She leans closer to his ear and whispers angrily, "Next time I'll let you fall."
"Oh good, so you don't mind me talking here again since there will be a next time." He says back with an annoying smirk.
"Louis, I will kill you if you wake me up again."
"I'm not scared of you, now if you'll excuse me, I'm trying to have a phone call and it's not polite to listen in so if you can just close your door again that would be great."
She scoffs and not so gently pushes past him and slams the door hard, making it hit him in the back. She smirks and makes her way into the kitchen.
"Ugh, can you at least get dressed, I mean seriously put some pants on." Louis complains.
She looks down and remembers she wore a big t-shirt to bed, she has shorts on underneath it, but it's annoying him so he doesn't need to know that. She shrugs and keeps walking.
"I would, but someone's blocking my door so I can't."
He makes an annoyed grunt and goes back to his phone call, but it's over quickly after that.
She sees Harry sitting at the table and she frowns, sulking since she was rudely woken up. He notices immediately and opens his arms up to her.
"Aw, babe. What's wrong?" Harry asks with a pout on his face.
She goes over and curls up into his lap, leaning her head on his chest and his arms wrapping around her.
"Louis and his loud mouth woke me up." She says in a whiny voice.
"Would you stop whining, Jesus you're not a baby." Louis says.
Her head shoots up and she looks at him, "well I wouldn't be whining if you didn't wake up asshole." She says with venom in her voice.
She moves to get comfortable on Harry again, putting her head in his neck as he rubs her back again and the other hand holds her exposed thigh, keeping her pressed to him.
"Do you want me to make you breakfast?" Harry asks sweetly.
"No, just want cuddles." She says and he of course complies and hugs her tighter, smiling brightly. She sighs and he presses a kiss into her hair. This was normal for them, they are both very cuddly people, and they get along so well, it kind of just started happening naturally so they go with it.
They care a lot about each other, but neither of them have feelings for each other. They're just close friends.
"Ew, you guys make me sick." Louis says.
"Jealously doesn't look good on you Lou." Natalie says sassily.
"Don't call me Lou." He goes to walk out of the room, already tired of her.
"Bye Loulou, I'll miss you," she calls out in a fake sweet tone to which he gives her the middle finger and slams his bedroom door.
Natalie ends up just having a granola bar for breakfast and getting dressed in a simple pair of jeans and a band t-shirt. A go to outfit of hers when she is tired and not in the mood to think. She leaves her bedroom to go make herself a cup of tea before leaving for their shopping trip, but she finds Harry already making her one.
She happily hugs him from behind, "Thank you Harry."
"Of course, anytime." He turns around and hands her a sweatshirt, "And I brought this for you in case you get cold."
"You're the best," she leans up and kisses his cheek.
"Seriously you two are so annoying," Louis mutters angrily.
"Hey when we get in the car can I play a song?" Natalie asks.
"Sure," Harry shrugs as they all make their way to the car, the rest of the boys joining them as well.
"Great," she says and smirks at Louis as he scowls at her.
Once they get into the car she queues up Jealousy, Jealousy by Olivia Rodrigo and sings the parts about jealousy right to Louis. It doesn't perfectly fit their situation, but it gets the point across and successfully annoys Louis to no end.
Louis scoffs loudly and Harry tries to suppress his laugh. Louis puts in headphones and turns his head so he isn't looking at anyone.
They don't have big plans today, it is Saturday so they have off from work. Some of the boys want to go shopping and since fans vaguely know their approximate whereabouts, its better to go with security.
The boys each need different things so they have a couple of different security guards that will help them to the appropriate stores and Natalie is just along for the ride because she has nothing better to do.
She's going to stick with Harry and Niall and browse around the stores they want to look at. She is also coming for a very important reason of her own, food court food. Very, very important. She's been craving Auntie Ann's pretzels for a while now so she's super excited.
The day ends up goes by quickly and smoothly. They pig out on food and the boys get the things they need. She finds a new pin of Baymax from Big Hero 6, one of her favorite movies. She also gets a matching sweatshirt with Harry and Niall. Not that she needs another one, but who is she to say no to her friends.
They all put their sweatshirts on after they buy them and then link their arms making a chain and essentially being obnoxious, but they are having fun. Niall ends up piggybacking Natalie to the car while Harry holds all of his and Niall's bags much to his dismay, but with the way Natalie is giggling as Niall spins her around, he can't complain too much.
