I'M IGNORING HIM

Natalie wakes up one sunny morning and decides to lay in her bed for a little bit before she gets up. She goes into the kitchen to find Niall, Zayn, and Liam all eating cereal. She grabs a bowl and a spoon and sits next to Zayn.

When Zayn finishes eating, he puts his arm around her shoulder, letting her lean into him. They are both very cuddly people, especially in the mornings or when they're tired so they get along very well. They all talk to each other, discussing plans for the upcoming weekend and what they want to eat for dinner later that night.

Harry joins them a few minutes later saying good morning to all of them and getting cereal for himself. It's nice and calm, that is until Louis comes out, already rolling his eyes.

"You know you can just sit by yourself; you don't have to always be thrown on someone," Louis says pointedly at Natalie.

She doesn't respond and he turns around harshly to look at her. She isn't looking at him, she just continues eating her cereal.

Zayn gives her a funny. She leans up and whispers to Zayn, "I'm ignoring him," and shrugs her shoulders.

He giggles at her and pulls her closer to him. "Well this is going to be fun," he says quietly.

They all eat their breakfast and whenever Louis is talking, she makes sure not to look at him. She busies herself on her phone or with her food or turns into Zayn so her back is to Louis.

He picks up on the fact that she's ignoring him, but he tries not to let it bother him.

It does though. He doesn't like it, so he's going to do his best to bother her until she talks to him.

When she goes to reach for her cup, he reaches out quicker and takes it. She instead pretends like it didn't happen and just gets up and gets another glass of water.

Everyone else leaves the kitchen to go get ready except for Natalie and Louis. He comes up behind her, "Why are you ignoring me?"

She just continues to pack up her lunch, humming a tune and acting like he isn't there.

He huffs and leaves the room; he makes it his mission for the day to get her to talk to him. He isn't sure at all how he's going to accomplish this since he doesn't know her that well, but he is willing to put in the effort.

He would ask Harry some questions about her, so he could use the knowledge to his advantage, but Harry wouldn't answer. He would know Louis is up to something and probably warn Natalie or something annoying like that.

The boys all act like she is a princess and basically wait on her hand and foot. Not that she asks them to and she doesn't let them do it too much, but that's not the point, he doesn't see the appeal.

Sure, she is nice and all, but she is just like anyone else. Nothing incredibly special like they all go on about.

He gets dressed and goes back into the kitchen, waiting for everyone else to be ready. He sees Natalie sitting down on the bench by their table, looking at her phone. He decides to go sit next to her, and by that he means half on top of her. Basically leaving her no room to breathe, but hey if she doesn't ask him to move who is he to do anything about it other than sit there.

He leans on her with his elbow in her lap. "Whatcha lookin at?" He says, putting his head in her way so she can't look at her phone anymore.

She just tries to twist around in her seat so her back is to him. He just scoots closer and puts his chin on her shoulder and looks at her phone again. She's on Instagram liking a cute photo of 2 kids.

"Who are they?" He asks and she moves her head to look at him but stays quiet. "They're cute whoever they are." This does cause her to smile, but she tries to hide it. He sees it though before she gets it off her face.

"That's okay, I'll just make up my own story about them," she rolls her eyes at him, but truthfully, she does find it amusing. "They're your neighbors' kids. Yeah, you seem like the kind of person who would like a photo of your neighbors' kids. You used to babysit them on Friday nights since you would have no other good plans," she elbows him in the stomach since he is still so close.

"OW!" He yells and moves away from her just enough that she can get away from him. She smirks at him and walks away.

She drives him crazy; she really does. It seems like no matter what he does, she gets the best of him, or she just doesn't care. If she was doing the things he did to her to him, he would have lost his mind by now.

Maybe she actually is  just a really nice person, but he doesn't want to think that. He can give her credit for being smart, but he can't become like the rest of the guys. They do all seem to have fun together though, he usually goes out with his friends or hangs out in his room. She doesn't go in the basement much since the only video game she really likes is Mario Kart.

Maybe when they all hang out, he could join them. If he gets to know her maybe she won't annoy him so much, but that will require him to be nice. Or at least civil, he doesn't know if he can do that. Well, he could, but he doesn't want to.

He won't admit it out loud, but it is fun. He still messes around with the guys, but like he said she doesn't get that mad, she just takes it and gives it back, that's for sure.

Just then he thinks of a way to get to her. It's simple really, all he has to do is wait for lunch.
