I MISS YOU

Louis went away for the weekend with some of his friends for a little boys trip, although he specifically always corrects Natalie and says they do not call it a boy's trip because that's lame. She of course continues to call it a boy's trip to bother him. They may have been together a few weeks now, but they still tease each other all the time.

Right now she's laying in his bed by herself, and she can't sleep. She sort of hates how dependent she's become on him, but how can she not? They spend all their time together, especially since they know their time might come to an end soon.

She was so used to doing things on her own before she moved in with the boys and she's so scared to have to do that again. She won't just miss Louis, but all the boys too.

If this is what it's like for 2 days, she has no idea how she'll survive months of the boys on tour if she doesn't get the job. Unless she becomes a groupie, she can always consider that. She laughs at the idea and rolls onto her side, checking the time again. 3 hours, 3 hours she has been trying to fall asleep.

She wants to call Louis, but she doesn't want to be clingy. And he might be sleeping, she doesn't want to wake him up and bother him. But on the other hand she knows that if he knew she was awake right now, he would call her right away.

The more and more she thinks, the sadder she gets. Before she can think anymore, she's already dialing his number.

L: Hi baby.

Louis answers groggily.

N: Hi Louis.

He can already hear in her voice that she's sad.

L: What's up love? You alright?

She can hear her shuffling, he's probably shifting to sit upright in his bed.

N: Yeah I'm okay. Can't sleep.

L: No? Are you in my bed?

She smiles a little, but it doesn't last long.

N: Yeah, but-

She stops because she doesn't want to sound needy, but she's so tired she feels likes she's going to cry.

L: But what love?

N: I don't wanna sound needy.

She mumbles, it's hard for her to ask for help, but due to her tiredness, it seems slightly more manageable.

L: But I'm not there?

He asks gently.

N: Yeah.

She sighs sadly and bites down on her lip to try to stop her tears.

L: Do you want me to come home?

She's shocked, but overwhelmingly touched.

N: What? No of course not Louis. I mean thank you, but I want you to have fun. I just wanted to hear your voice and you said to call if I ever needed and yeah.

L: That's right. I always want you to call me if you need something. Always always.

She nods even though he can't see her. Gosh, she misses him.

L: Do you want to go stay in Harry's room while I'm gone? Do you think that will help you sleep?

Does he want her to sleep in Harry's room? No. Does he trust her enough to know she would never do anything to hurt him? Yes. And if it means she could sleep peacefully than that's all that matters.
