Namjoon just woke up from Taehyung's room when Sudee opened the door to call him, the older woman is in tears but has visible smile on her lips
"Joon, Jungkook has woken up" she says happily then follows him after Namjoon took long strides going to the other room
Jungkook has his eyes open staring at the ceiling, he's looking around the white room and saw the long rod with an IV and medicines beside his bed.. Namjoon opens the door staring at him. He tries to moved but his right arm and leg has caste
"Dad...." He manages to say, the bruise on his face has faded with a few bandages on his forehead
Namjoon cries dragging a chair to sit beside his bed and holds his hand
"My son, how are you feeling?"
Sudee stays at the door watching the father and son, she can't help it but to cry but excuse herself to give them privacy and get the doctor
"Excuse me Joon, I'll call the doctor for him" Sudee says turning to leave the room
"Yes please..thank you"
Namjoon says without looking at her, he's watching Jungkook as he wants to move, he's crying already
"Dad, Where... Where's Tae? Dad Tell me please.. he's fine right? If only i could move.. but I'm stuck.. i... i couldn't move dad! I would have pulled him to me so at least I can cover him from the glasses.. please tell me he's fine, I saw him bleeding and I can't help him! I'm so mad that I couldn't do anything for him!"
His tears falls non stop remembering what had happened to them, they have agreed to go back that time when a car chased them on a dark road
Namjoon holds his hand caressing it crying with him
"Taehyung is... he's fine.. he will be fine, you should gain your strength so you could see him, we still have a lot of things to do son" he wipes his tears trying to be strong for them..
The door opens wide, the doctor walks to the patient with a nurse by his side but another man stands at the door frame, Namjoon stares at him but didn't surprise to see him
He is supposed to be there
Jackson obviously has been crying, his reddish eyes and nose are visible due to his white complexion. His eyes focus on the younger man laying on the bed inside the room, Jungkook is still crying while the doctor runs a check up on him
"Sir Jungkook, please calm down, I need you to focus and answers my questions" the doctor says holding his records in a clip board
Jungkook tries to stop his tears but his mind wanders where his love is.. he wants to see him. The vivid memories of the accident flashing in his mind and all he wants to do is to hold Taehyung in his arms
Jackson took a step forward inside and stand just right at the end of the bed. Jungkook glances at him and recognizes him right away, he tries to wipe his tears with his hands on which his dextrose was attached to but Jackson is fast to move closer to him, pulling a handkerchief in his pocket to wipe his tears, Jungkook startled but let him help him
"Refrain from moving, you're still healing" his eyes are teary focus on what he is doing. Namjoon watches his best friend, he knows Jackson resisting to introduce himself to his son he got teary just by thinking that for all these years Jackson has only got to know that he has a son in his care
Hayoung is truly a heartless person he had ever met
"Thank you" Jungkook says appreciating in what he did, he turns to the doctor so he can starts his check up
"Sir, I need you to look at this"
He raise a ballpen and ask away
"Are you seeing this clear?"
"Yes"
