Nunew's POV

"Your highness , it's time .." I turned around seeing Foei. I nod , fixing my suit as I walked out of the room. I walked down the hallway as my royal guards bow as I walk past them.

The door open as I walked in. I look down from above the stairs seeing a lot of prince and princesses from different kingdoms. Suddenly someone in dark blue suit caught my eyes at the end of the stairs. He turned around making our eyes meet. I slowly walked down the stairs , smiling slightly.

He pulled out his hand as I slowly grabbed it. We walked towards the center of the ballroom and soon classical music started playing. I stood in front of him as he then bowed. Sudden a huge bang was heard and blood splattered on my face. My eyes widened as I saw him on the ground , bleeding profusely.

'RINGGGGG !!!'

I shot up from my sleep , breathing hard as I touch my chest. A sharp pain than hits my head making me clutch my head , groaning.

"Aish!" I groan. After awhile the pain subsides as I breathe hard. The door open revealing my secretary , also my best friend , Nat.

"Good morning your highness .." he said as he walked towards my curtain , opening it making sun come in. I squinted my eyes as the bright light hits my face.

"Today , you have to meet your father .." he said as I got out of the bed with my legs feeling jelly-like.

"Your highness ? Are you okay ?!" Asked Nat as he rushed towards me , holding me tightly to prevent me from falling.

"I am fine .. and didn't I tell you to call me Nhu when we are alone ?" I asked as he set me down back on the bed.

"But sir , you are my b-."

"I am your boss outside of this room in front of others but I am your best friend now." I said as he sigh. He sat beside me , patting my back.

"Sorry .." he apologized.

"It's fine .." I said , smiling slightly.

"Please don't tell me you had a bad dream again ?" He asked as I sigh.

"It's nothing .." I said.

"I should freshen up." I said , getting up , making my way to the bathroom. I took a cold bath , freshening myself up. After a shower , I walked towards the mirror , looking at myself through the mirror. I then untie my robe , seeing a huge birthmark on the right side of my stomach. I touch it and sigh. I then tied my robe , going out. I wore my suit , styling my hair. I then walked out as my bodyguards bowed as I walked past them.

I walked out of my house as Nat open the car door. I got in as he shut the door. He jogged to the other side where the driver seat is. He got in and I nod as a sign for him to drive off.

We arrived at a huge house. The door open as I stepped out. I fixed my suit before walking in seeing many bodyguards surrounding the whole house at every corners.

The door open as I walked in seeing a man , smoking while looking at the view.

"Father." I said making him turn.

"Ah son , come sit .." he said as I took a sit.

"You asked me to come , why ?" I asked.

"I know you don't like being next to me." He said.

"If you knew , why did you call me here ?" I asked.

"I heard about your attacked a few days back." He said.

"So for your safety. I hired one of the best bodyguard for you." He said making me chuckle.

"I have enough bodyguards. I don't need another one." I said.

"It's for your safety Nhu. You almost died." He said.

"It's not like you even care." I said.

"Well , I don't care what you say but I've made my decision. This bodyguard can protect you no matter what." He said as he then got up. He look at me.

"I want you to know son , your safety is the top priority in this family. Soon enough you'll be taking over my place in this world that I built. He walked away , leaving me alone.

If you are wondering , my family has royal blood. It has been passed down from the oldest generation which is my great grandfather. Now , it's been passed down to my father. My father believe that one day , his 'throne' will be passed down to me. Of course , we have people who are on our side at everything we do , but some are against it. So they chose violence against my family.

"Sir .." said Nat as I got up.

"Let's go home." I said and he nod. I walked back into the house.

Zee's POV

I walked into the house as the bodyguards bows everytime I walk pass.

"Ah Zee.." said Mr Kuea. I bowed respectfully. He nod as I took a sit.

"Thank you for helping son.." he said as I smile slightly.

"You know I would do anything for you , your highness .." I said as he pat my back.

"I am very worried about my son , Nunew .. nowadays , many people who are against us have become brave enough to attack .." he said.

"I am afraid of my son's safety at the outside world .." he said as he sigh.

"I have been finding the best bodyguard for him but he always drive them out." He said , shaking his head.

"What I ask from you .. is to protect my son no matter what." He said and I nod.

"I will do my best sir." I said. He then pat my back , nodding.

"I will leave my son's safety on your hands." He said as I look down to the picture.

"Nunew .." I thought , looking at his picture.

Nunew's POV

"Nat , did my father assign a new bodyguard for me ?" I asked.

"Yes , he did , the new bodyguard will arrive very soon." He said and I nod.

"I don't get why he wants to protect me so much when he doesn't even care about me." I said annoyed.

"All he wants to do is protect you Nhu .. don't you remember what happened last week ? You were hunted down by people .. you almost got killed .. you were lucky that it was just a bruise .." he said.

"At least I am not dead .." I said earning a sigh from him.

"Look , who knows this bodyguard is different .." he said and I sigh.

"Have a lil hope .." he said.

"I lost hope already in living." I thought. Soon there was a knock on the door making me turn.

"Sir , he is here." Said one of my bodyguard. I look at Nat as he nod. I sigh , walking out of the room. I walked towards the stairs , looking down to see a broad back facing me. I walked down the stairs slowly as he slowly turned around revealing a charming face. Soon my head started throbbing making me frown.
