Nunew's POV

I close my book , sighing.

"I am getting bored .." I thought. I set my book down , getting up from my bed. I walked out of the room , going downstairs. I look around not seeing anyone. I then walked towards the living room , pouting as I look around.

"This house is huge.. I feel lonely every time .." I thought.

"I want to leave this place but I can't leave without that guy's permission .." I said , huffing. I turned around and soon jumped in shock seeing Zee. I touch my chest , breathing out.

"You scared me." I said.

"I am sorry your highness." He said as I glare at him.

"What do you want ?" I asked.

"You look like you needed something .." he said making me chuckle.

"I don't need anything , thank you .." I said.

"Then .. were you looking for someone ?" He asked.

"Yah , are you this busybody ?" I asked.

"Maybe .." he answered back. I rolled my eyes , walking past him as he followed me.

"I want to go outside .." I said.

"I can't be stuck here always .." I said , turning to him.

"You can , but you can't go alone." He said making me groan.

"I am not a baby .." I fought back.

"Indeed you are not , your highness but it's for your own safety .." he said as I sigh. I knew asking him would be useless.

"You know , whatever .." I said as I walked but soon slipped as the floor was slippery. I gasp , closing my eyes , waiting for the impact but instead I felt someone's hands around me. I open my eyes seeing Zee. He held me as I look at him. I held his arm as he hold my back and waist.

"Woah-." I slipped but then someone caught me making my eyes widened.

"You should be more careful your highness .." he said.

"Your should be more careful your highness .." he said as I frown.

"Sir-." I quickly got up , clearing my throat as I straightened my clothes. I turned seeing Nat and Max. I look at Zee awkwardly as Nat chuckled.

"Your highness .." he said bowing as I nod.

"Just in time Nat .. come and have lunch with me .." I said , grabbing his hand.

"Um Z-Zee , ask the maid to prepare l-lunch .." I stuttered.

"Aow , why did I stutter ?!" I thought.

"Come Nat .." I said pulling him to the dining room.

I look at my food as memories of just now flood through my mind. I bite my lips nervously , poking my steak with my fork.

"Aish , why can't I get that picture out of my head .." I thought. I frown , sighing.

"Wait .. but on the other hand .. I never really noticed how handsome he is .." I thought and soon my eyes widened. I shook my head , clutching my fork.

"But ... he reminds me of someone ... it's like I knew him before .." I thought , pouting.

"Aoww !! What am I thinking ?! Nhu , he is your bodyguard !!" I shook my head.

"Your highness ?" I poked my steak.

"Nhu !" I snapped out of my thoughts seeing Nat , looking at me worriedly.

"Huh ?" I asked , confused.

"You completely murdered your steak .." he said as I look down seeing my steak all stabbed.

"Hoi .." I said as I placed my fork down , chuckling nervously.

"Are you okay ? Are you sick ?" He asked as he then placed the back of his hand on my forehead.

"Hm , you don't seem to have a fever .." he said as I put his hand away.

"I am fine .. Just tired .." I smile.

"Anyways , what brings you here ?" I asked.

"Well your father wants me to inform you that he is arranging the annual ball at the end of the month here .." he said making me frown.

"Aow , at my place ? Why doesn't he want to do it at his place ? His place is much bigger than mine .." I said.

"No idea , but he said he wants to do it here .." he said as he took a bite out of his steak. I frown , sighing.

"Where are we going ?" Asked Zee as we walked through the long corridor. I then opened the door revealing a huge ballroom also known as the Great Hall. I look around , sighing.

"This ballroom hasn't been used at all ever since I moved here .." I said.

"We'll finally use this room ..." I said as I turned to him.

"Get the maids to clean this ballroom , my father would want to do the annual ball here .." I said as Zee nodded. I then walked towards a picture that was covered with a huge velvet cloth. I look at Zee as he then slowly remove it. The cloth dropped on the ground making a huge amount of dust flow. I cough , fanning it away as Zee did the same. I frown and soon realized it was a huge portrait of my family.

"Mother .." I said , looking at the portrait. My eyes then went to a guy who's face was all ruined since the painting was old. I touch it and soon my head started throbbing.

"Taking the picture .." I fixed my posture , posing with a straight face.

"Yah .. smile .." Said my sister.

"I hate taking pictures .." I whispered as she sigh. Soon the door open making me look and soon saw Charan , Hia , walking in. His eyes landed on me as a small smile appear on my face.

"Charan ..." I thought.

"There you go .. you are smiling~" teased my sister making me smile even more.

"Pose for the camera .." I look at the camera , smiling and soon a bright flash flashes.

I backed away from the picture , holding my head as I breathe hard. My legs then became weak.

"Your highness !" Said Zee as he held my arm.

"Are you okay ?" He asked worriedly as I look at him , frowning. I soon regained consciousness in my legs. I stood up straight , looking back at the portrait. I let go of Zee ,sighing.

"I'm fine , just the dust .." I said as an excuse.

"Get the maids to clean now..." I said before walking out of the ballroom , straight to my room. I closed the door , sitting down on my bed.

"What was that ? It's the same as my dreams ..." I said.

"I thought it was just a dream ... why does it pop up in my head so frequently nowadays .." I said touching my head. I sigh , plopping down on my bed.

"Charan .... That name ... why does it sound so familiar ?" I said. I grabbed the pillow , hiding my face in it.
