Nunew's POV

"I thought you are not hungry , your highness ?" He asked.

"That was before !" I said as he chuckled. He then put out his hand as I walked towards the dining room.

I sit down as the maid then walked out of the kitchen with a tray.

"Here's your food , your highness .." she said as she placed the tray down in front of me. I look at the food , seeing steak on my plate alongside with a salad.

"This type of food makes me sick .." I thought.

"But I'm hungry .." I thought.

Zee's POV

I look at Nunew as he ate. He pout every time he takes a bite.

"Does he not like the food ?" I thought.

"He didn't finish the first time .. now it looks like he is forced to eat .." I thought. I sigh , walking out of the house.

"Zee .." I turned seeing one of the guards and also a close friend of mine.

"Max .." I said as he pat my back.

"I am glad that you are back.." he said.

"It's good to be back .." I said chuckling.

"I was wondering , what's the prince like ?" I asked.

"Oui , why are you suddenly so curious ?" He asked.

"Well I was assigned to protect him .." I said.

"He seem so cold..." I continued.

"The prince has always been like that .. he is what you call a curious prince .. I heard he doesn't want to take the throne .." he said making me frown.

"Why not ?" I asked.

"No idea .." he answered as I sigh.

"Khun Zee .." I turned seeing one of the maid.

"Master Nunew is looking for you ..." she said as I nod. I walked into the house seeing Nunew in the living room.

"You needed me , your highness ?" I said.

"My father informed me that there will be a dinner at his house. You have to follow me." He said.

"Yes , your highness .." I said bowing slightly.

Nunew's POV

We arrived at my father's house. The door open as I got out. I walked in as everyone bowed whenever I walked past them. I walked into the dining room to see Father and a few of his friends who had royal blood.

"Nhu .." said Father. I bowed slightly as Zee bowed down as respect. I walked to my seat as Zee pulled out the seat for me. I sat down and nod to Zee. He then walked out of the room.

"Thank you all for coming .." said Father as I look down to my food.

"Salad .." I thought.

"Your highness , I want to congratulate you on your success in your new project ..." said one of them , Mr Yi.

"Thank you for your collaboration .. more land has been added." Said Father.

"So your highness , it's your last year being the head of the throne .. soon enough Nunew will take over .." said Mrs Pran making me look at her.

"Yes , very soon I will stepped down .. and hand over everything to my son .." he said.

"But are you certain that your young boy can handle it ?" Asked Mr Yi.

"He has to be ready nevertheless." He said as I look at Father.

"Then what about Karin's properties ?" He asked making me frown.

"What about mother's properties ?" I asked.

"Father ?" I looked at him as he sigh.

"Your highness has made the decision to sell of Karin's property .. so that we could build more buildings .." said Mr Yi.

"What ? Father .." I said.

"You can't sell mother's properties , that's all we have of her .." I oppose.

"It's the best decision." He said as I shook my head.

"Mother would not want you to sell her property away." I said sternly.

"You need to let go of your mother. She is not here anymore." He said as I clutch my fist.

"That's easy for you to say. I won't let you. I am against it !" I fought back.

"Nunew Chawarin. Enough. I have already made my decision." He said coldly. I then got up , breathing hard.

"I have to remind you father. She may be your wife but Karin Chawaron , is my mother too." I said before bowing to the rest. I then walked out of the room. I touch my chest , clutching it as small beads of sweat appear on my forehead. I breathe hard as tears rolled down my cheeks. My head then started spinning. My legs then felt weak. I was about to fall when someone grabbed my arm , holding me against him.

"Your highness .." I turned seeing Zee. He look at me worried.

"Take me home. Now." I said as he nod. He held me against him as we walked towards the car. He open the car door as he set me down. He quickly started the car , driving home. I leaned my head against the car seat , breathing hard. After a while , he quickly open the door , grabbing my arm gently as he held me up. We walked into the house as Zee then called one of the bodyguards.

"Get a doctor now !" He ordered.

"There's no need for a doctor." I said weakly.

"But your highness." He said.

"I don't like repeating myself." I said as I weakly look at Zee as we then walked up the stairs. Once we reach the top , I weakly push him away.

"Leave me alone." I said as I slowly walked towards my room.

"Your high-."

"I said leave me alone." I said cutting him off. I walked into my room , slamming the door shut. I plopped down on my bed. I touch my temple , frowning in pain. I then opened a drawer , seeing a few pain killer. I took one of the pill , drinking water. I sigh , leaning against the headboard.

This always happens when I am stress. My head tends to spin and hurts so I am used to it. I look over to my nightstand seeing a photo of me and mother.

I touch the frame as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Mother ... I miss you .." I said. I hugged the picture , sobbing softly.

Zee's POV

I sigh , taking off my blazer as I plopped down on the couch. I pulled down my turtleneck slightly.

"Leave me alone." He said as he look at me with those weak eyes.

I sat up , ruffling my hair slightly. I hide my face on my palm.

"He is what you call .. a curious prince."

"Indeed he is .." I said.

"Sir .." I look up seeing a guard.

"Someone tried breaking in." He said making me frown. We walked out of the house , towards the gate. I look at it seeing that someone broke the alarm. I frown , touching it. I then had a bad feeling. I turned back to the house before running towards it. I ran up the stairs , running towards Nunew's room. I opened the door to see someone dressed in full black , pointing a knife to Nunew who was fast asleep.

"Oi !" I shouted making him turn. I kicked the knife out of his hand.
