Zee's POV

"You don't know much me and Nat is worried ... you know Nat almost book a flight back to Thailand , why didn't you answer my phone calls hm ?!" Scolded Max.

"Relax .. we were just being chased .." I said.

"Huh ?!! Chased ?!" He shouted in my ear making me frown , looking at my phone.

"My ears hurt from you screaming .. me and the prince are okay .. the prince is asleep in his room .." I said.

"Are you sure both of you are okay ?" He asked.

"Yes , we are." I said reassuringly making him sigh.

"Don't worry , I'll handle everything .." I said , hanging up after a while. I sigh , rubbing my temple. Soon I heard foot steps coming from behind making me turn to see a half awake prince.

"Already awake ?" I asked as he nod sleepily.

"Breakfast is ready .." I said as he opened his sleepy eyes slightly , nodding. I chuckled , walking towards him as I grabbed his hand , leading him to the dining room.

I sat him down as I pulled out a chair for me to sit. I poured some porridge in the bowl.

Nunew's POV

I watch him as he poured some porridge into the bowl. He poured in some chopped green onions.

"I don't want any gin-." He placed my bowl in front of me as he poured pickled ginger in his bowl.

"I know you don't like pickled ginger .." he said as mixed his porridge. I smile slightly , eating it.

"So what do you want to do today , your highness ?" He asked as I placed my spoon down , pouting as I think.

"Hm ... ah , the ballroom is ready , I didn't get to see it yesterday , so I am just going to check it today to see what are the things I want to add in .. and also Nat sent me a list of the people my father wants to invite .." I said.

"I thought you sent out you invitations already.." he said.

"This are additional invites .." I answered and he nod.

"Then let's do it .." he said making me smile.

Zee open the door to the ballroom as I look around.

"Hm , not bad .." I said seeing the place all cleaned up. I then walked towards the center of the ballroom , smiling.

"You know many memories was built here .." I said.

"The queen loves this room a lot .. I used to remember how I would ask mother to dance with me at every ball .." I said.

- flashback -

"Excuse me .." I said walking through the crowd to see Mother and Father talking to the guest. I cleared my throat making the both of them turn.

"Ah honey .." said Mother as I smile.

"May I ?" I asked , putting my hand out. Mother chuckled , placing her hand on mine as I lead her to the dance floor. She placed one of her hand on my shoulder as I placed my hand above her waist. We then started to waltz around the ballroom.

"Nhu .." she said making me hum.

"One day , I want to see you dance with your own lover .." she stated making me frown , chuckling.

"Mae , the only person I would dance with is you .." I said making her giggle.

"My son .. You'll always be my little prince .." she said , caressing my cheek.

"Mae rak nhu ..( Mother loves Nhu ) .." she whispered as I smile nodded.

"Nhu rak Mae na .. ( Nhu loves mom too ).." I said.

"But ever since she fell sick .. she was too weak to walk .. she would always tell me that she miss dancing with me .." I said as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"She wanted to have a last dance .. but .. the timing didn't work out .." I chuckled as Zee looked at me.

"I am sorry .. I just missed her .." I said. Zee then placed his hand on my cheek , wiping my tears away.

"I understand .." he said , looking at me with his warm dark brown eyes.

"Shall we dance ?" He whispered making me frown in confusion. He then took a step away and bowed. He then pulled out his hand.

"Your highness , may I have this dance with you ?" He asked , looking at me with a soft smile.

"Charan .." I thought. Zee looked at me as I slowly placed my hand on his. He then interlocked our fingers as he placed his other hand on my back , above my waist. I slowly placed my free hand on his shoulder as we slowly waltz around the empty ballroom.

He twirled me around making me smile. He pulled me back by the waist making my back leaned agitated his chest. I giggled softly as he turned me back. I then slowly leaned back as he held my waist , dipping me. I looked into his eyes as he did the same.

"Charan .." I whispered , caressing his cheek.

"Charan .." I said making him freeze. I caressed his cheek as he slowly lifted me up from the position. We breathe hard as he look at me confused. I then realized what I said.

"I am sorry , that just came out all of a sudden .." I said.

"We should go and settle the invitations .." I said , leaving the ballroom.

Zee's POV

I frown , standing in the middle of the ballroom , confused.

"Charan .. how does the prince know that name ?" I thought.

"Kanin .." I said before walking out of the ballroom.

Nunew's POV

"James .." I said as Zee wrote down all the names.

"And Lastly , Jake .." I said as I then placed the paper down , stretching my arm.

"Ahh~ finally done !!" I groan , sighing happily. Zee chuckled , placing his pen down as he placed the last invitation with the rest.

"I am not going to host a ball again .." I complained.

"What do you want for dinner ?" He asked making him hum.

"Ooh~ ramen .." I said making Zee shook his head.

"No more Ramen , we ate that for lunch .." he said.

"Aow but Ramen is one of the greatest food .." I said.

"But having too much is unhealthy .." he fought back making him chuckle in disbelief.

"Then .. how about.. ah-."

"No dessert too .." he said cutting me off making me frown.

"Aow but why ?" I asked.

"You always complain about your cheeks being fat , eating too much dessert can cause your cheeks blow up even more .." he said making me pout.

"Fine then , a salad !" I huffed, folding my arms. He chuckled , patting my head. I look at him as he smile.

"Why are you smiling huh ?!" I asked , groaning before getting up. I rolled my eyes , wanting to walk away when he grabbed my wrist making me turn to him. He got up as he close the gap between us. I frown , moving back slightly as he leaned down closer. I close my eyes , waiting for him to do something but soon realized nothing happened. I open my eyes to see Zee with a smile.

"How about I make you the jackfruit salad .." he said. He then let go of my hand , walking towards the kitchen. He left me there with my cheeks burning up.

"Jerk !" I shouted , pouting.
