Nunew's POV

"We kissed." He said making me choke on my soup.

"How are you so straightforward with this type of things ?" I asked , coughing. I cleared my throat as I look at him.

"Zee I-."

"I know .. we both weren't in the right state of mind since we were drinking , it was just a mistake .." he said making me freeze.

"And don't worry .. this is just between you and me , let's just act that nothing happened .." he said as I felt somewhat .. hurt hearing those words.

"Mistake ..." I thought.

"Your highness .." I snapped out of my thoughts , nodding.

"Yes , it was just a mistake." I said and got up.

"Where are you going ? Aren't you going to finish your soup ?" He asked.

"I-I am just going to go and rest upstairs .." I said , walking out of the dining room. I walked upstairs to my room , closing the door. I sat on my small sofa , frowning.

"It was just a mistake .." I thought.

"Why does that hurt so much ?" I asked. I touch my lips , clutching my fist.

"Why would he say that ? I thought .. we ..." I sigh , rubbing my temple.

"Stupid .. How could you ever thought he would like you huh Nhu ? Idiot." I said as tears rolled down my cheeks unconsciously. I wiped my tears away , breathing in and out.

"Me and Zee can never be together .." I said to myself.

Zee's POV.

I sat there in the dining room alone , sighing as I rubbed my temple.

"Yes , it was just a mistake."

"Aish .." I sigh , clutching my fist. I have to accept the reality that me and the prince are in two different worlds. One day , he will get married to a princess and I will be behind him , supporting him. The kiss was just a mistake.... But ....

Is it possible for me to get over my love for the prince ?

Nunew's POV

"How's everything over there ?" Asked Nat.

"Everything is fine ..." I said.

"Nat .." I said making him hum.

"How would you feel if you love someone ?" I asked.

"Aow , the sudden question ?" He asked.

"Well , I would feel happy of course that I finally get to feel love. Love isn't something that you can find easily ..." he said.

"Then ... what if the person you love , doesn't love you back ?" I asked.

"I'll feel hurt of course ... but that doesn't mean you can't love that person , you can always love him from a distance ... love is everywhere Nhu , but not everyone will love you back .. but I know if that person is the one , he'll definitely love you the way you love him .." he said and I sigh.

"Thank you .." I said. I talked to Nat for a while and soon hung up since he had to settle some stuff. I sigh , placing my phone on the table.

"Let's get over him Nhu .." I said.

I walked downstairs seeing Zee talking to James. He soon saw me but I quickly look away , walking away. I sigh , knowing that this is the best way for us.

But .. is it possible for me to get over my love for Zee ?

Zee's POV

I sigh , folding my arms as I watch the prince who was taking Angel on a walk. He's been cold towards me for the past two days. Not only he's been cold , he's been avoiding me. Every time I try to approach him , he would not say anything and walk away.

"Sir , a call from the king .." said James as I nod. I grabbed the phone , clearing my throat.

"Your highness .." I said.

"Yes everything is fine , yes , the prince is safe .." I continued as I look at the prince.

"You have my word .." I said before handing James the phone. James bowed , walking out of the room.

Nunew's POV

I packed my bag , grabbing my phone as I walked out of the room. I walked downstairs seeing Zee.

"Where are you going ?" He asked.

"To the library." I said coldly , walking pass him but then he grabbed my arm. I snatched my arm back , sighing as I look at him.

"If you are going somewhere , you have to bring a bodyguard with you." He said.

"I don't need anyone to babysit me , I can go myself." I said walking away but he grabbed my arm.

"It's an order , your highness. I thought I made this order clear. You can't leave the house without anyone accompanying you. It's not safe." He said as I sigh in frustration.

"You are not my boss. You are just my bodyguard. I am not a baby no more , so just let me be." I said.

"I may be your bodyguard but your life is on my hands. I can't let anything happen to you." He said.

"And why are you being like this hm ? You've been avoiding me .. what did I do wrong ?" He asked.

"Answer me , your highness .." he said as I look at him.

"You know what , whatever .." I said , moving his hand away from my arm , walking upstairs. I slammed the door shut , throwing my bag on the bed. I plopped down on my bed , looking up the ceiling. Soon an idea popped up making sit up. I smirk , grabbing my phone.

"I am getting out of here." I thought.

Zee's POV.

I look at the time seeing that it was already 8pm and the prince hasn't come down for dinner. I then got up , walking upstairs to his room. I knocked a couple of times.

"Your highness .." I said.

"I know you are mad .. but can't you eat at least ?" I asked.

"Listen .. I don't know what I did .. but I am sorry okay .. let's just talk .." I continue. I open the door not hearing any reply.

"Your highness ?" I called out , looking around the room to see no one. I then saw the window fully opened.

"Shit .." I said running out of the room. I grabbed my phone and leather jacket.

Nunew's POV

I bowed to the worker as I walked out of the library with books. I placed the book into my bag , taking out my phone. Soon my phone started buzzing and I soon saw Zee's name on my screen.

"Pft .. whatever .." I said as I locked my phone. I walked through the tunnel as the surrounding was quiet since it was quite late at night. I then heard footsteps approaching me making me look up from my phone to see a guy dressed in full black. I froze in my place as he then took out something from his pocket. My heart stopped seeing a knife in his hand.

"Hello , my prince .." he said as he then walked towards me slowly. I backed away , clutching my bag.

"Don't worry , I won't hurt you , your highness .." he said smirking.
