S2 Ep2: Britney/Brittany-Small blue pill

"All right. Who can tell me who Christopher Cross is?" Mr Shue asked the glee club.

"He discovered America." Brittany confidently said. Finn nodded in agreement with her.

"Close. He did write an iconic chart topper, Sailing" Mr Shue said.

"I have a bad feeling about this lesson." Gabriela told Santana.

"Never heard of him, don't wanna hear about him." Tina said.

"Some people think of the term 'easy listening' as a bad thing, but I'm gonna let this music speak for itself." Mr Shuester handed out the sheet music to everyone.

"You guys love Lady Gaga and the Rolling stones, and you guys are really good about putting it all out there. But really good music can also be be controlled and restrained, it doesn't have to attack the audience.It can let them come to you"

"How can you get caught between the moon and New York city? They're like a 100 miles apart." Finn asked.
Gabriela gave him a odd look.

"Mr Shue, if i may."  Kurt interrupted the teacher.

"I think I speak for all of us when I say that its not that we don't love the idea of spending a week on this silky-smooth adult contemporary. It's just that, as teens, this isnt the easiest music for us to relate to. However, there is a burgeoning Facebook campaign, that has swelled to over 5 members. The ardent demand? That this week at the fall homecoming assembly, the McKinley High School glee club perform a number by, wait for it, Ms Britney Spears." Kurt told him.

"Spears is fierce, yo." Artie said in agreement.

Mr Shue cleared his throat and interrupted the New directions excitement.

"No, sorry. Kurt, Kurt." He said trying to get his attention. "No. No, I don't think shes a very good role model." Mr Shuester said when we finally got his attention.

"But Mr Shue, we kinda grew up with her." Rachel told him.

"Yeah, shes the reason I started performing." Tina added on.

"I don't wanna do Britney." Brittany spoke up.

"Why no Britney, Brittany?" Kurt asked.

"Because my name is also Britney Spears." She began making the Glee Club look at her in confusion.

"What the hell is she on about?" Mercedes asked. Gabriela glared at her.

"My middle name is Susan. My last name is Pierce. That makes me Brittany S Pierce, Brittany Spierce." She explained to them.

"I lived my entire life in her shadow, I will never be as talented or as famous. I hope you all respect that I want Glee club to remain a place where I, Brittany S Pierce, can escape the torment of Britney Spears."

"Well, there you have it guys. It's been decided. No Britney. Sorry." Mr Shue said seizing the opportunity.

"Thanks a lot Brittany." Kurt said sarcastically.

"Leave Brittany alone." Gabriela told him off. She put a comforting hand on her back.

"Thank you for understanding." Brittany said to her.

Santana smiled at how protective her best friend was over Brittany.

"Um, can we move on?" Rachel asked.

"Yes. Lets talk about Michael Bolton." Mr Shue said making Gabriela groan in boredom. She rested her head on Santana's shoulder, smiling at her best friend, when she saw Santana looking at her.

Gabriela and Santana stood by the shorter girls locker, speaking about Cheerios practice and the boring Glee lesson.

"Be careful, there's a giant Rhino approaching you right now." Santana warned Gabriela.

She laughed at Santana's comment before turning around to see Andre approaching her.

"Hey" She greeted him first.

"Hey" He said with a dopey grin on his face. "I was wondering if you wanted to walk together again?"

Gabby opened her mouth to reply, but before she could Santana did.

"Actually we have to go somewhere." She grabbed Gabriela by the arm and dragged her away.

'Sorry' She mouthed to the boy.

Santana dragged her around the corner and far out of the boys sight before letting her go.

"What was that for?" Gabriela asked her kind of upset

"Oh please, you can do better than him. You're super hot and popular. He's probably just trying to use you." Santana rolled her eyes.

"He's kinda cute though San and he seems super kind. Just trust me. Okay?" Gabriela used her most convincing smile.

"Fine.But if anything happens, I won't think twice about going all Lima heights on his ass."

"All right, here's the deal. You chew this capsule and if there's any plaque you missed,the dye will stick to it and turn your teeth blue." Carl, Ms Pillsbury's new dentist boyfriend, said handing out blue pills too them.

"Can I just say that you are the hottest dentist I've ever seen?" Santana told him. Gabriela looked at her in disgust. Even if it was true, she felt weird that Santana told him that.

"Yeah, I get that all the time." He replied.

"No, like seriously, you can totally drill me whenever-" She continued before Ms Pillsbury interrupted her. "Santana! Okay, lets stay focused."

Gabriela lightly hit her shoulder. She shrugged it off.

"Its all rock n roll, Ems. And besides, this guy..." Carl said motioning to Mr Shue, "Now this huys pretty easy on the eyes too, huh? And you know what, no matter how hard I tried, I bet I couldn't sing and dance like him."

"Ah, probably not." Mr Shue said very cocky.

"All right, lets take a look at those chompers" the hot dentist said.

"Before we chew, i would like to alert Mr Shue that there's been a new addition to the Britney Spears campaign." Kurt spoke up.

"Sorry, the answers still no." Mr Shuester told him. "Capsules guys." He said changing the subject.

When Gabby put it in her mouth it tasted awful. She looked to see if anyone else thought this, and saw majority of the Glee club pulling their faces.

She looked to Quinn who revealed an amazing white smile. She nodded approving of it. Quinn raised her eyebrow making Gabby show off her perfect pearly white teeth. Quinn gave her a thumbs up.

She turned to look at Santana who also had no blue whatsoever in her teeth. She smiled to show Santana her teeth as well, when she heard a loud gasp from Finn and Kurt.

Rachel pulled out her mirror to see her blue-stained teeth. "I don't get it, i floss in between classes." She told the man

"Well sometimes its genetics." He replied

"I think I might be better at brushing and flossing if i could see myself in the mirror." Artie said.

"There you go blue tooth." Santana said

"I don't brush my teeth. I rinse my mouth with soda after I eat. I was pretty sure Dr Pepper was a dentist." Brittany told the class, her mouth stained fully blue.

"With some deep bleaching, little scaling, you'll be as good as new." Carl told her.

He told her to open up to look at her teeth before telling her to close again.
