Gabriela and Brittany were busy getting ready to go out and perform, when she saw Santana come out a closet Puck had exited not even 5 minutes ago. She rolled her eyes at the thought of the two of them in the closet.
Just then a particular curly-haired boy entered the backstage area. He walked straight up to the cheerleader.
"Hey, I just wanted to wish you good luck. I'll be in the crowd cheering you on." Andre told Gabriela.
"Aww thank you." She said with a smile. Figgins began with his announcements.
"Oh, uh I should probably go. Bye" Andre awkwardly said.
"Yeah, bye." As Andre turned around she saw Santana looking at the two of them. Suddenly she got an idea.
She grabbed grabbed his arm and he turned around. She stood on her toes and placed a quick kiss on his lips. The boy was shocked by this but kissed her back before she pulled away.
She gave him a quick smile before walking away. Santana looked at the two, mainly Andre, in rage and a little disgust. She hated the sight of him.
When Gabriela turned to look at her she turned away rolling her eyes, and went up on the stage with the rest of the New Directions.

Brittany danced to the middle of the stage where Gabriela and Mike were. Gabriela joining in on the singing

Mr Shuester came from behind the Glee club and sang while performing dance moves

The final four stood dancing off to the side, Gabriela and Santana not really acknowledging each other.

Gabriela was scanning the crowd for one boy in particular. When she saw him already looking at her she sent him a smile, which he gladly returned.
Santana noticed this small interaction. She hated how she was angry and upset at the thought of her best friend being with him.
She shook the thoughts away and went back to focusing on the performance

Gabriela and Brittany pulled Mike up from the floor as the Glee Club formed a line, one behind each other.

Gabriela passed Santana, sending her a smile. Santana wanted to smile back, but instead ignored her. This hurt Gabriela a little bit, but she continued on with the performance like before

The school began cheering and shouting for the new directions, the performance driving them wild

When they finished the performance they all stood in their positions. Gabriela stood in between Quinn and Santana, who still refused to look at her.
Sue pulled the fire alarm, sending the school into a panic. Everyone rushed out of the gym in a stampede.

Gabriela sat across Andre, who was speaking about football and himself. She didn't really pay attention. Her mind was stuck on Santana, she had to find a way to get Santana to stop ignoring her.
She was pulled out of her thoughts when she felt Andre put his hand on hers. "Are you good?" He asked her.
"Oh, yeah, sorry. Just thinking about how great this date is with you." She lied. She didn't really enjoy it as much as she thought she would.
"Yeah,it is. I'm very lucky to be on this date with you." Andre complimented her. A light blush appeared on her face
"So am I." She giggled.
Andre cleared his throat. "Gabriela, I know that this is our first date, and I really, really hope its not the last because I like you." He admitted to her.
"I like you too. And I hope this isn't our last either."
Andre leaned over and kissed her before returning back to his seat.
"This spaghetti is really good." He told her.
"Yup"
