"I know things have been pretty morose around here this past week," Mr Shuester began as everyone sat in the choir room "but i want to celebrate some good news for our little family. Let's hear it for Finn for getting back his quarterback job and leading the titans to a win in the second game of their season."
Everyone gave him a round of applause, including Gabriela, even though she still felt suspicious.
"Yeah. Too bad that Sam kid had to have his arm basically ripped off for it to happen. Its good to have you back in the saddle brother" Puck said
"Its a shame, he was cute as well." Gabriela joked, earning herself a disapproving look from Santana.
'i'm joking' She mouthed towards her best friend
Kurt walked up to the front and thanked everyone for the kind words and condolences for his father. He updated them on Burt's current state before he sang a song that appreciated his father.
This song really hit hard for Gabby. It was embarrassing to admit but she did slightly tear up during it. It reminded her of her own father, and the amazing memories they made together.
She got up and hugged Kurt as he ended off the song. Kurt was shocked by this seeing as it was out of character for Gabriela.

Finn stood in the choir room after ending off his song that Gabriela couldn't bother paying attention to before Tina complained.
"I thought we couldn't sing songs about religion." She stated.
"Evidently, we cant sing about faith but we can sing about losing it" Mercedes upset
"Kind of hypocritical, and i'm saying this as someone who's not big on religion." Gabriela agreed
"That's sort of what I wanted to talk about." Mr shue said standing from his chair. "Earlier in the week, Finn, you seemed to have felt differently."
"I used to think God was up there looking over me. Now im not so sure" Finn explained.
The bell rang and Santana got up, pulling Gabby along by her pinky, and walked out of the classroom.
"Its crazy how Finn switched up, dont you think?" Gabby asked Santana
"Maybe he had a realisation. Like me right now." She said as she saw the football prayer approaching. " I used to think God was looking over me until you started seeing that dumbass."
She pulled Gabriela down the hallway, away from Andre, leaving him dumbfounded. Gabby followed along, giggling at her best friends antics.
