I was mortified so I lied.

"Just a little. That's why I sat next to the fire."

"Good. A drink will warm you up too." He smiled as the bar tender came back in with two drinks menus.

"Thanks Liam," Draco said nodding to the man who smiled and left. "Here, this is the self serving menu. Just tap on what you want and it will appear."

"How do I pay?" You ask.

"You don't. Your drinks are on the house." Draco said patting my leg.

Now I was bloody roasting!

"I have to pay. Just let me -" I went to pull out my purse but he took my hand.

"Nope. Not happening. What is the point of owning a business if I can't spoil my friends with free drinks?" He beamed at me, showing all his perfect white teeth.

"Friend?" I raised an eyebrow.

No with was his turn to blush. "Yes, we are friends now. You have given me a chance and I am eternally grateful for it."

"It was nothing."

"Not to me. To me it was everything. Especially when you said you trusted me." He was looking down at the menu but looked up at that moment and caught my eye. We were sitting close. Two close. Friends don't sit this close.

"So what is good to drink?" I asked as he leaned in slightly causing my heart to beat wildly.

"Oh...em...yes...well I like the Firewhiskey or the Merma-gin is another favourite."

"Merma-gin?" I asked.

"Yeah it is a gin, with a pearly sheen to it. It changes flavour to reflect what you like best each sip. It's strong though. Or there is always champagne or prosecco? That's all Astoria drinks so I have to stock the best here."

"I think the gin sounds fascinating," I smiled as I tapped on the name. A glass appeared on the table in front of me. It was dusky blue in colour. "My favourite colour," I smiled lifting the glass.

"Mine too," Draco said and I noticed his glass was like mine. "Well should we toast?" He asked.

"What's a drink without a toast?" I laughed. "To new business ventures, moving forward and new friendships." I said raising my glass.

"Absolutely!" he chuckled making me giggle. I took a sip of the drink. Draco was right, the taste was amazing, like fresh fruit.

"This is amazing!" I smiled as I took another sip. This time it was sweeter, like ice-cream. "Each sip is different!" I laughed.

"You have a very lovely laugh," he complimented and once again I blushed. I absentmindedly ran a hand down my leg. His eyes automatically darted to the movement and back up to my eyes again.

"Thank you. This place is amazing Draco." I smiled looking around me.

"Thanks. It turned out better than I thought it would. I am very proud of it."

"As you should be." I nodded.

"Tori says it's stupid and I should be focusing on bigger business merges which will bring in more money." He didn't sound like he disagreed, but he didn't sound like he agreed either.

"Oh?" I didn't mean it to sound synical.

"Money I have. Plenty of it too. I want to help smaller businesses. Help people who deserve it. Not people who are after power or fame or squeezing every penny out of their customers."

"Well for what it is worth, I think what you are doing is amazing. Helping out those who need it most. It says a lot about your character."

"What does it say about me?" he smirked.
