The following morning, I was standing in my living room twirling in front of Pansy.
"How do I look?" I was wearing a black strappy dress with a fitted, cropped blue cardigan and black heels.
"Simple yet stylish and elegant. I like it." Pansy smiled over her copy of The Daily Prophet. "Are you nervous to meet this guy?"
"No. Why? Should I be?" I asked.
"Not at all. Everyone loves you. I can't imagine he will be any different. Besides do you want to impress him? I thought you only had eyes for Draco?" She smirked.
I sighed. "Pansy he has a girlfriend."
"She is bloody horrible. You and he are much better suited than Draco and that...thing." She scrunched up her nose.
"But he is still with her. He clearly wants her."
"Yeah, that's why he spent all evening last night watching your every move and drooling over you." She smirked again.
"I don't know what to tell you Pans. Every time I think he likes me, he disappears off to her. I am not the kind of girl to steal someone's man." I straightened my already straight dress. "I better get going. I told Narcissa I would be there at 11am. I will see you when I get back?" I turned to her.
"I will be here doll," she smiled as I stepped into the fireplace. "Have fun."
When I opened my eyes I was in Lucius and Narcissa's living room. "Good morning my dear," Narcissa said from the sofa from which she stood up.
"Narcissa," I smiled walking to her and hugging her. "It's lovely to see you. I brought you these." I handed her a small tin. "Lemon squares I baked myself and this," I handed her a tube. "It's a new facial serum that works wonders on your skin. I have been using it for about a week -"
"I was just admiring your skin. I was going to ask you what you used."
"Well I need a few more reviews so I was hoping you would try it out for me?"
"I would love to," She smiled linking my arm and walking me out of the room. "And thank you for the squares. They are my favourite."
"I remember you telling me."
"Lucius is in the dining room," Narcissa smiled as she guided me into the room. "Look who is here."
"Ah, Addalie my dear. It's enchanting to see you again." Lucius stood up and kissed my hand.
"It's lovely to see you sir."
"Come, sit and tell me how business has been doing." He gestured to the seat next to him.
"It's been great. It's been very busy. Blaise has already began work on the Hogsmeade store. Orders and flying in and we are hiring more staff to keep with demand."
"Excellent, excellent." He smiled.
"Actually sir, I had a proposition for you, if you are interested?"
"I am all ears my dear."
"Well, with the new store, we need even more stock. The last time I visited you said you missed potion making and didn't have much to do at home. So I was wondering if you would be interested making some potions for the Hogsmeade store? I could give you my recipes, and you can work away. Obviously I will pay you, and you don't have to. I am sure you have plenty to do, and it was just a sug-"
"An amazing offer and one I would be delighted to take on for you." Lucius' whole face lit up at the prospect of working again.
"I have spoken to The Ministry, and they are happy for you to work away for me. They actually said it would count towards your good behaviour, and they would look into reducing your sentence if you work well."
