Draco and I were married exactly one year after he proposed. Originally we had wanted to get married sooner, and we even had a date set and preparations were well under way.
But I didn't think a heavily pregnant belly would fit into my dress.

Yip, a few weeks after the press release and the day Draco asked me to be his forever, I found out that I was pregnant. I was a nervous wreck as we waited for the test results, sitting in the Malfoy Suite in St. Mungo's. I barely remember what the MediAid said but when Draco jumped up suddenly punching the air and then proceeded to kiss and hug me for several minutes, I was pretty sure the test was positive.

Thankfully everyone was very happy for us. I am not sure who was happier between Narcissa, Lucius, my grandfather and Blaise who had announced to everyone that he was Godfather and even bought cigars for all the men.

So on the exact day of our original wedding date, Draco and I found ourselves being rushed through the hospital corridor by a medic with two Healers on our heels. Turns out our little bundle of joy decided to wait two days past their due date and then wanted to make a grand entrance into the world. Our blended family were all waiting in the corridor to hear news of our baby, each slightly on edge and very nervous with anticipation. But when the Healer opened the door to the suite and told them that they could visit for a few minutes only, they nearly tore the door off the wall to get through.

Everyone was there. Narcissa and Lucius along with my grandfather and Minerva (who he had been spending a lot of time with, and I had a sneaking suspicion was dating him). Then there was Blaise and George with the biggest balloons one blue and one pink as they didn't know what we were having along with Daphne and Charlie, Theo and Pansy, Hermione and Ron, Harry and Ginny, Laurie and Taron. They all stood waiting as the Aid pulled back the curtains surrounding the bed and then gave a gasp when they saw me sitting up in bed, holding onto one of the most precious cargo's I had ever held in my arms. Wrapped in a little blue blanket and wearing a blue hat, my son was curled up and sound asleep.

"Oh we have a grandson," Narcissa cried holding both Lucius and my grandfathers hands.

"And he is the most beautiful baby that ever was," Lucius said his own voice shaking and full of emotion.

"You might want to retract that last statement," Draco chuckled quietly as he turned around to face the group. In his arms was our little girl, wrapped in a pink blanket with a pink hat on her head.

The whole room gasped with Ron looking confused. "You don't have any more hiding anywhere do you?" He asked looking around.

"Just our two little treasures," I smiled as my eyes filled with tears as I looked up to my grandfather who rounded the bed to my side and bent down to kiss me.

"You did good my little star," he smiled wiping away a tear from his own eye. "You did real good." He lifted his little finger and stroked my son's cheek.

"So what are we calling them?" Pansy asked quietly as she leaned in to see the little girl Draco had just placed in his mother's arms.

Draco smiled as he sat next to me on the edge of the bed, wrapping one arm around me and with the other holding his pinky out to his son who grasped on for dear life, causing Draco to get a little choked up. "Well," he smiled. "We thought we would keep with the A names in honour of Adddie's family line."

My grandfather gave a squeak.

"So we would like you to me our daughter Astra and our son Asher." Draco bent to kiss me as everyone else swooned over the two precious little miracles.

So by our wedding day a few months later we had two additions to the bridal party - Asher and Astra. And it was the most perfect day. We danced, we kissed and more importantly we tied our little family tree together, now and forevermore the Malfoys.

But the surprises didn't stop there. Draco and I decided to forgo a honeymoon not wanting to be away from the twins, promising we would have many adventures together when they were a little older. Instead we have our friends around for a little BBQ one evening, where Harry and Ginny announced their engagement and Daphne and Charlie announced their pregnancy.

By our first wedding anniversary, there were three more engaged couples - Hermione and Ron, Pansy and Theo and Laurie and Taron. Everyone knew Daphne and Charlie weren't far behind. The biggest surprise was Blaise and George who stopped by one afternoon to announce they had eloped and were now husband and husband.

My family were all settled, healthy and happy and it was more than I could ever hope for. We have a few babies on the way with Daphne heavily pregnant and Ginny and Pansy a few weeks along each.

By our fifth wedding anniversary, all our friends were married and our little brood had grown. Draco and I had another little girl to cherish. Daphne and Charlie had two little boys. Pansy had a little boy and a little girl due to make an appearance any day. Ginny had given birth to James, then Albus and just last week gave birth to little Lily. Hermione and Ron had Hugo and Rose. Blaise and George had adopted a little boy oddly enough called Freddy and Laurie and Taron had Bella and Grayson.

Life moves pretty fast and sometimes I feel like I can't keep up. Between engagements, babies, new homes, weddings and our machine taking off and becoming a medical phenomenon, the last few years had been manic.

For a little girl who thought she was a nobody and was content to live in the shadows for years with only a very small group even knowing of her existence to becoming a household name, my life had been turned upside but I wouldn't change a thing.

Everything worked out as it should and it was just perfect.
