Actually, it was a few weeks before I seen him again. I assumed he was busy so it didn't phase me. We were business partners, that didn't mean that I had to know where he was at all times.
He has a girlfriend for goodness sake!
He did get the ball rolling on the storage unit we talked about though. He had sent Isabella over a few days after our time together, with a few potential properties that he thought would be suitable for us.
I had absolutely no clue about them. They all looked great. Although Isabella was great and took me through the pros and cons of each one, I was still at a loss. In the end I just told her that I would go with whichever one Draco thought was best.
I hadn't heard or seen from Theo. Not that I was expecting to but I know for a fact that he was looking for me the summer after the battle while I was travelling. I am pretty sure he had no idea that I was in Diagon Alley of all places.
And so my little life went back to a semi normal state of existence. Pansy visited the store a few times over the weeks and even Laurie stopped by to purchase the new perfume I had been working on that day. She must have mentioned it to a few of her friends, as I sold out several times that week and had to restock.
The shop had never been as busy as it was. I assume that Draco had something to do with it but I wasn't exactly sure what.
It was early one Saturday afternoon, as I was closing up the shop that I heard from anyone at all. I closed at 4pm most Saturdays but today I was closing a little earlier than usual. There was a Holyhead Harpies match that I had bought a ticket to. The Harpies were my favourite team. Especially now that they had Ginny as Seeker. They were having a brilliant season so far so I was excited to see them.
I had just locked up when I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I turned to come face to face with Blaise Zabini.
"Hello," I half smiled.
"Hello Addalie. Are you headed off home?" He asked. He was nervous as hell it as obvious from his face and how he stood, shuffling from one foot to the other.
"No actually. I have a ticket to the Harpies game!"
He looked very shocked. "You are a Harpies fan?" He asked.
"Yip. Have been since I was old enough to fly. It's not too often I get to a match. Usually I just listen on the radio but I thought I would treat myself."
"Want some company? I hate to watch a game alone." He asked hopeful.
"You have a ticket?" I asked.
He chuckled. "Not exactly. Draco and I share a box. So I don't need tickets. I just wanted to apologise to you about my actions in school and what better way than while watching the Harpies crush the Cannons?"
He did look very sorry as he stood there afraid to meet my eyes. I never blamed Blaise for what happened. Even as he pinned me down that night, he look pained. I knew he regretted it. "Sure. Why not?" I smiled at him.
"Excellent. Shall we head to the Ministry? The portkeys will be activated soon. We could grab a coffee while we wait."
"Sounds good."
We began to walk side by side down the street to the Floo portals that had been set up after the war. Floo seemed like a better idea than flushing myself down a toilet. We Floo'd to the Ministry and bought our coffee's. Well I paid for them while he was distracted. We then sat by the fountain in the foyer waiting.
"Addalie, I know that what we did to you in school was unforgivable. I know it was. I cannot believe I ever agreed to help Theo with it. He told me he was going to slip you a forget me not potion in your drink. Not wipe your memory. I hated myself for what we did. I will never be able to make it up to you."
