They weren't forgetting about it quickly enough for my liking. The following day, the papers gave a full report on mine and Ernest's argument as well as me and Draco heading to the Ministry to sort out the frozen accounts issue. How they even heard of that I will never know. But that was just another story they spun, so I was painted as some saving grace. The hero of the day. It was mortifying.

On Tuesday, they gave a run down of what Harry and Ron said during their speech. Each year at school was broken down, and details of how I helped rescue or save my friends were given out. They even managed to get a few classmates to give statements about me during school.

Again, mortifying.

People were coming to the shop in the hopes of catching a glimpse of me. I had taken to Apparating straight into the back room to avoid crowds. Thankfully, no one knew where the warehouse was, so I was pretty safe there and could work without being interrupted much.

On Wednesday, the paper gave a detailed history of my family. My parents and who they were, how they met and their marriage, then giving a step-by-step guide to their final day and how they met their demise. Every gory detail. I didn't even read it this morning. Draco had arrived at the house for breakfast and warned me not to read it.

When Blaise and Hermione arrived, the four of us took off together for the Ministry to meet Kingsley. Someone clearly tipped them off that we were on our way for as soon as Draco and I stepped out of the fireplace hand in hand, there were camera's in our faces and reporters shouting questions at us. I didn't even wait for the others as I dragged Draco towards the lifts determined to escape the mob.

I didn't say a word as I moved quickly. Of course they followed but I tried my best to ignore then. If they did manage to get a picture, it would be a blur as I power walked through the lobby. Poor Draco dragged along behind me.

Thankfully, Hermione and Blaise caught up with us before the doors closed. Merlin blessed the security guard who managed to fend off the reporters who were trying to get into the lifts with us. "Well, that was exciting," Blaise smirked as he smoothed out his hair. "I felt a little like a celebrity there."

"Well, I am glad you enjoyed yourself," I rolled my eyes but smirked.

"It probably doesn't seem like it, but they will eventually move on to reporting on someone else. After the war, they followed Harry, Ron, and me around for a few months. A few literally camped outside The Burrow trying to catch us off guard." Hermione explained.

"That sounds awful!" I groaned.

"Actually, it was hilarious. Molly threatened to set the pigs and garden gnomes loose on them. They did eventually leave. You just have to ignore them."

"You make it sound easy," I smiled at her.

"Want me and Blaise to hex them all?" Draco asked bringing a smile to my face. "Because for that smile I would happily do it."

"Ohh me too!" Blaise chuckled.

"I will think about it."

The lift stopped moving, and the doors opened on the minister's floor. We followed behind Hermione, who, since she worked here, knew exactly where to go. Every so often, we passed a desk where someone would nudge the person next to them and look up at us. I just kept my eyes looking forward.

We stopped outside two very large black doors. This floor looked to be a lot grander than the ones I had seen before. The air smelt sweet and I looked down the corridor to see vases of fresh flowers decorating desks and coffee tables.

Just outside the double doors there was a desk to the right at which sat a young man. He looked to be a little older then us, maybe a few years. His blonde curly mop of hair hung around his face ad his tanned skin looked practically shimmer like in the light. Most of the Ministry has no electric as does most of the Wizarding community. There were a few exceptions - Hermione's office, Harry's and Arthur Weasley's. The rest of the building was either lit my orb light which hung around the ceiling or candlelight. This particular section of the floor was lit by glowing orbs that hug on the wall, a bit like a light would.
