Stupid Draco with his dreamy eyes and velvety smooth voice...and amazingly hot girlfriend. He definietly did not make it fucking easy.

But I did get used to it. I got better at hiding my emotions when he was around. I went back to being friendly and charming and sweet. I went back to what I was like before I really got to know him.

Not that he made it fucking easy. He was still flirting. I think it was second nature now. It was driving me bat shit crazy.

It was one Saturday afternoon when I was in the back room. I could hear Pansy in the background talking with customers. I was just about to head out when I heard "hey gorgeous," and Draco walked into the stock room. "I brought you a coffee." he handed me the takeaway cup. "You look beautiful today, Ade." He smiled at me.

SEE!!

"Morning," I answered, maybe not as enthusiastically as I usually do.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing," I fake smiled. "Nothing at all. I'm just not feeling the work today. I am tired." I shrugged and took a sip of coffee. "Ummm, thank you." I turned to get back to it when Draco spun me around. He is lucky he didn't end up covered in coffee.

"Are you sick?" He asked concerned.

"What? No... honest, I am just drained." I went to turn back again, but he held me in place.

"Maybe you should go home for the day. You do look...I don't know like something is up. Go home and take it easy for the day."

I laughed. "No, I will be grand. I just need one of my 'spring in your step' potions. Besides, I am going out tonight, so I have to pick myself up."

"You're going out?" he asked.

"Yes. I told you. We are heading to meet Daphne's new mystery, man. She organised for us all to go out to a club. You were there when she told us and I reminded you last week." I gave him an odd look. He honestly didn't remember?

"Shit! I forgot."

"Are you busy tonight?" I asked, noticing that he had not let go of me. yet.

"Well... I am supposed to go to a party with Tori. She organised it ages ago." He looked miserable.

"What are you two talking about?" Pansy asked, coming in and causing Draco to jump back and drop his arms.

Pansy wiggled her eyebrows.

"Well, it seems that Mr Malfoy is double booked for the evening. So there goes my partner," I laughed.

"Oh no!" Pansy moaned. "But then you will be on your own. We are all pairing off...well, hopefully anyway." she winked.

Draco looked shellshocked. "Partner?"

"Yes, you idiot! You said you would accompany Addalie and dance with her so she wasn't alone."

Honestly, I was pretty happy about that.

Draco paled. "I am sorry, Ade. I forgot."

"Never worry." I raised up my hands. "Maybe I should give this club a miss. I don't want to be a 5th wheel. Four couples and me."

"Not happening!" Pansy snapped. "I need you there to help me." She smirked. "I will just have to find you a date." She nodded, agreeing to her own decision. "Leave it with me, and I will find someone." She turned and walked out of the stock room.

Draco looked...well, sick, to be honest.

"Typical Pansy. Won't take no for an answer. Merlin knows who she will find for me. Just what I need... an over glorified babysitter." It was a low blow, but I couldn't help it. "At least I get to wear my new dress after all. It's a little more....revealing than I am used to, so I will be glad of someone to help cover me up."
