Astoria stood with her arms folded. Looking very unhappy.
"What's the big deal? It's a dress." Fredrich asked.
"She was supposed to wear -"
"That ugly rag you left out for me?" Daphne snapped. "Why didn't you wear it? If it meant so much to you?"
"As if. It's hid - I mean, it was chosen for you." Astoria answered, going red.
"Well, luckily, I had this one delivered." Daphne said, coming to sit next to me and Blaise. Draco had chosen to sit in an armchair.
I was trying not to read too much into that.
"So is everyone now here?" Benny asked.
"Yes, sorry I was late." Daphne said again.
"Anyone who arrives late looking as hot as you is excused." Benny smiled.
Daphne blushed.
"Ok, so we all know, why, we are here. To discuss last night and -"
"And the complete lies printed about me to try and make me look bad." Astoria sniffed.
"Well, from what I have heard, they aren't exactly lies, are they?" He asked.
"They are. That picture of me was altered."
"No, it wasn't," Blaise laughed.
"Draco, tell him!" Astoria begged.
Draco shifted uncomfortably. "I don't know." He shrugged.
"What?" Theo and Pansy gasped.
"See!" Astoria grinned.
"So the picture was altered?" Benny looked to me, but thankfully, Theo spoke up.
"It was not. I was there. I saw it with my own eyes. Everybody did. Even security cameras did. I have already contacted Taron for a copy." He smirked.
"Why would you do that?" Draco asked groaning.
"Because I knew Astoria would come here with a story about how it was set up, and she was innocent, and I wasn't having it. Not after what she said about Pansy and Addie."
"Pansy and who?" Friedrich asked.
Blaise motioned to me. "This is Addalie Dumbledore."
"She your girlfriend Blaise?" He asked.
"No, obviously not," he chuckled.
"Is she anyone's girlfriend?" He then asked.
There was silence.
"So you are single?" He smiled.
"It would appear so," I answered as he winked at me.
Draco looked angry.
"So back to last night," Benny said.
"Well, if I was doing something inappropriate, it was clearly the effects of the alcohol." Astoria said. "I would never disrespect my family or my boyfriends family like that."
Draco didn't correct her. He didn't even look up.
"It was the nasty cheap champagne." Astoria remarked.
"The champagne wasn't cheap or nasty!" Pansy snapped.
"You're just saying that because it's your cousin's place. It was nasty, right honey?" She looked to Draco.
"It wasn't my favourite, no," he said quietly.
Astoria grinned smugly.
"So am I to understand that you two are back together?" Benny asked.
