True to his word, at closing time as Pansy and I were locking up, the fireplace roared to life and out stepped Theo and Draco. He smiled as he saw me turning off the last of the potion fires and strutted across the shop scooping me into his arms causing me to give a yelp. He swung me around before kissing me. It would have been very romantic if not for the clicking of camera's outside the shop.
He set me back down. "Have they been here all day?" He asked.
I nodded. "I've been hiding out in there," I pointed behind me. "I managed to keep away from them plus I got plenty of work done." I smiled proudly to myself. I leant my head on his shoulder as he kissed it.
"I got quite a bit done myself. We got another client on board today. A big one." He smiled proudly.
"Aw that's amazing love!" I smiled proudly. "Do we know the client?"
"Quite well," he smirked.
"He's very handsome," Theo winked. "And smart, and funny and -"
"You?" Pansy asked excited.
Theo nodded. "Who else? I've wanted to look into developing the business for a while but had absolutely no clue how to. So Draco did a proposal for me. Aw, babe his ideas are amazing! Wait to you hear them!"
"I can't wait!" Pansy giggled.
"It will be great to actually move forward and expand." Theo said. "Business has been a little slow this year."
"But that will soon change with a bit of a rebranding and a new marketing strategy." Draco said.
I kissed his cheek. "I'm very proud of you." I leant my head back on hsi chest and I could hear his heartbeat quicken, just like my own.
He blushed. "So, what are your plans for this evening?" Draco asked the couple.
"Dinner with my grandparents," Pansy said sounding nervous. "They heard that I have been working and doing well for myself and have asked me to come to their house. I think to make amends. I hope it's to make amends. I was always very close with my grandma and I have missed her. It's not easy when your whole family shuns you."
I knew that even though Pansy never got along with her mother or father, she desperately missed her siblings. Her older brother, although he didn't agree to the whole arranged marriage thing, would never have gone against his parent's wishes. So when his mother said that Pansy was not part of their lives any more, he accepted it. I think that is what broke Pansy's heart. Her younger brother and sister are 8 and 10, so they were too young to really know what was going on.
Pansy had not seen or spoken to them in over a year. It broke my heart to hear her cry at times wondering how they were.
"But I am damn proud of you for standing on your own two feet, fighting for your happiness. Hopefully tonight you will get an idea of how Poppy and Petros and maybe even Phineas." (her siblings).
"That would be great. So long as I knew they were ok. I'm hoping that's what they want me for. The letter did sound very upbeat. They even invited Theo along."
"Lucky me," Theo rolled his eyes. "What about you two? What are your plans? If it's anything sexual then feel free to give details," he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows.
"I have a questionnaire to fill out for the paper. Draco and Hermione offered to help me, so I asked Hermione and Ron around for dinner." I turned to Draco. "I hope that's alright?"
Draco looked at me his lips turning up into a smile. "Suits me. Ron and I can try those new fusions of Firewhiskey you made for Taron."
"New what now?" Theo was intrigued.
