"So we get it all back? All accounts will be unfrozen?" Narcissa asked excited over dinner that evening.
Draco and I look to each other and nodded. "Actually they already are. Sylvia contacted me when we left the Ministry to say everything was now in working order."
"Thank Merlin. We will be rich again. I mean this experience has been humbling but it will be nice to not have to stress and worry about every sickle."
"My dear things were never that bad. We may have been in a tight spot but for the last few months, Draco has really come through and turned things around for us." Lucius smiled. He was damn proud of his son.
"Yes, he has been fantastic!" Narcissa beamed.
"Actually I wouldn't have been able to do it without Addalie. She took a chance on me and when others saw our investment succeed, they had faith in us. Without her, I would still be trying to get my foot in the door and we would be...well for want of a better word...screwed."
"Addalie, what did we do right to get you in our lives?" Narcissa said taking my hand in hers. "You have been an absolute angel to us."
"Actually Draco was a big help to my business. I mean, he may have had an ulterior motive for coming to me but he must have seen some potential in my business. He helped me branch out and get the help I needed to run the store. Which allowed me more time to work of my passion project. He is also the reason I got started with my invention. Before it was just a pipe dream, but he helped me bring it to life."
"Yes, I hear great things about this machine. Quite a few of my associates have been talking about it. It is meant to be truly life changing," Lucius smirked.
"Addalie is a genius! That machine is going to be in every hospital in the wizarding world. We already have interest from many countries. It's very exciting." Draco said excited.
"So I believe. I know loads of men who would give their right arm to know how the machine works. I hope you have the plans and all contracts etc filed accordingly so no one can steal your work?"
I nodded. "Draco and Hermione made sure of it."
"It's iron clad and bulletproof. No one but Addalie can make any changes to it." Draco confirmed.
I took another bite of my steak as Draco explained the legal parts of the business that I had no clue about. Apparently his mother didn't either as after about 10 minutes she interrupted the father and son duo. "Can we talk about something else? Something I actually understand?" She pleaded.
"Sorry, mother." Draco frowned. "What would you like to discuss?"
I took a sip of wine as Narcissa responded. "Weddings," she beamed. Draco almost swallowed his fork and I inhaled my wine through my nose. Which ended with both of us coughing and spluttering. "Oh don't act so surprised." She rolled her eyes.
"Mother," Draco said clearing his throat. "Unless you and father are planning a vow renewal, there isn't anything to talk about."
"Oh what a fun idea!" She beamed at her husband. "We will have to do that sometime soon. But I meant you and Addalie's wedding."
"I wasn't aware we had one," I spoke up, finally finding my voice.
"Not yet," she smirked. She gave as good a smirk as her son. Now I knew where he got it. "But you've been dating a while and I wanted to know what was happening?"
"It's only been 7 months!" I gasped.
"Lucius and I were engaged after 3," she pouted.
I looked to the blonde at the end of the table. "It's true. I knew she was the one and I wanted her to be mine. Why wait?"
