Morgan's POV
I let out a huff of frustration before I continue to knock on the door.
When no one answers, for the fifth time, I glare at the door. I try the door handle, and of course, it opens.
I push it open and walk inside. "I've been knocking for five minutes-"
My words get stuck in my throat, and I freeze in place, taking in the sight of the two. Marlow and Diego are on the bed, under the covers, cuddling.
They're both fast asleep, their wrists still handcuffed together. Diego has his back facing Marlow, while Marlow spoons him from behind. Diego's handcuffed wrist is lying on the bed, on top of Marlows, who has his arm stretched out under Diego.
"Um.." I mumble, not knowing what to do.
"Hm?" Diego mumbles, lifting his head off the pillow and looking around through half-open eyes. "Morgan?" He looks confused seeing me.
"I have the key-..handcuffs..to undo the handcuffs," I tell him, holding up the small key. He collapses his head back down on the pillow, his eyes closing.
"Leave it there.." He mumbles, and I nod, walking and leaving the key on the bedside table beside them.
"We..We um have training" I whisper. "We're skipping" Marlow answers this time, suddenly awake yet his eyes are closed.
"Right.." I slowly step backwards, until my back hits against a wall. Clearing my throat, I turn around and walk out the door, closing it behind me.
Shit.
I let out a breathless laugh.
"It actually worked" I mumble in disbelief. Chuckling to myself, I begin the walk to the gym.
As I make my way down the hall, I'm suddenly shoved forward, and I groan as I crash into the wall.
"Oopsie" An all too familiar voice sings out as they walk by. I glare at the back of the bitches head as she turns the corner and disappears.
I sigh, pushing away from the wall and glaring at the ground as I continue. When I walk around the corner, however, I crash into someone, sending me stumbling back.
"Oh for fuck sake watch where you're going-" I scowl, looking up and freezing when I see Sage staring at me.
The tension in my shoulders seems to ease at once, and a big smile forms on my face as I jump at him, wrapping my arms around his neck.
His arms wrap around my waist, his face buried in my neck. My feet are off the floor, dangling as he holds me up.
"I missed you" I mumble, and he hums in response. It's been five days since I've seen him, and my friends all noticed I seem grumpier than usual.
I think they're wrong, but who cares.
I hear voices, and I tense up again. Sage immediately notices, and before I can even say anything, he's walking, with my still hanging off of him.
He hides us in a supply closet that was near us, and I relax once I hear the people walk by.
"Quick thinking" I comment, and he doesn't say anything. "Okay, put me down now," I say, shaking my feet back and forth until he reluctantly puts me down.
He keeps me pressed against him with his hands around my waist, and I smile up at him.
Let's agree that five days is far too long" I say, and he nods. I can't help but laugh at him, but he doesn't seem to mind. In fact, he seems happy. The small smile on his face is evidence. I like to think it's because of me.
