Morgan's POV
The gym is silent as we all stare at Elijah, waiting for his instructions.
We're at evening training, and we were all told to space out. Me and Luna, unfortunately, are at the very front. Luna has 'bad eyesight' and needs to be at the front. I should have left her because this is incredibly awkward for me.
Sage is standing only ten meters away from me, standing next to Elijah. He's on his phone, thankfully. I'd die if he was staring at me.
After I completely embarrassed myself in front of them not even five days ago, I've been staying as far as possible from them. Which is easy, since they don't exactly care about me.
"Seventy push-ups" Elijah suddenly yells. Luna looks at me with wide eyes, and I shrug before getting on the floor like everyone else.
We're only ten push-ups in and I see Luna struggling beside me. I chuckle quietly, not wanting to piss her off. She's insecure about her incapability of doing push-ups.
Luna falls at twenty, and I look at Elijah to see if he noticed.
He didn't, since he has his back turned to us as he talks to Sage. I have a clear view of Sage's face, and I watch closely, seeing if he talks.
I watch his lips, and they don't move. He doesn't say anything but nods his head.
I've been curious as to what his voice sounds like. He's hot in every way possible, and I have no doubt his voice is beautiful.
Diego says he probably doesn't talk because he had a horrible voice. Like a really high-pitched, squeaky one that doesn't suit him at all. I disagreed, but don't voice it. What would I say? I have a gut feeling his voice is attractive? That's stupid.
I wonder if he maybe is just mute. Luna said someone's seen him say a word to Elijah before. What if they lied? I can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't talk.
I scowl at myself, shaking my head at these thoughts. It's absolutely none of my business.
I glance from his lips up to his eyes, and I take a sudden intake of breath when I see him staring at me already.
How does he always know?!
I'm tempted to look away, but I can't seem to find the strength to. His eyes are captivating, and I wish I could get a closer look to see the colour.
Everything I get close enough to look, my mind goes blank. And checking the colour of his eyes is usually last on my priority list.
Elijah suddenly clicks his fingers in front of Sage's face. He doesn't blink, instead, he takes his time before slowly glancing back at Elijah.
I see Elijah's head turn, but thankfully Im quick and look away, continuing my pushups before he notices me and realises I was distracting his friend.
I feel a lingering gaze on me for the next five minutes, and I know it's him. I ignore it, which is difficult. Sage is not an easy man to ignore. But I'm determined.
So with a flushed face, I finish my seventy push-ups without looking at him.
When I'm done, I sit back on my heels as I catch my breath. Mostly everyone has finished now as well, apart from Luna, who is still lying on the ground. She never got back up after twenty.
"Plank for five minutes. But to make it a bit difficult for you, every time you fall, that's an extra twenty push-ups you have to do before you leave" Elijah tells us, and groans could be heard from nearly everyone.
"Oh shut up you lazy fucks. Or I'll get Group C in here to beat your asses. Might shut you up for a while" Elijah mutters, and everyone shuts up in seconds.
