Morgan's POV

I step out of the shower, wrapping my towel around myself to dry my body. I put on my usual workout clothes before I open the bathroom door and step out.

I scream when I see Marlow and Diego holding water guns, and before I can run, they open fire.

I scream again, shielding my face as ice-cold water is sprayed all over me, while laughter fills the air.

By the time they stop, I'm practically soaked. I let out an angry breath, glaring at the two fuckers as they hold onto each other, doubled over in laughter.

"What the fuck!?" I yell, stepping forward.  They are smart enough to know they're dead if I get my hands on them, and they run to the door.

"Happy April fools, bitch!" They shout before slamming my door closed behind them.

I groan, regretting becoming friends with them in the first place.

After changing, again, I leave, walking down to the gym with determination in my eyes. Determination to get those two fuckers back.

Walking into the gym, as usual, I see everyone standing around in small groups talking. But my attention is immediately stolen by Sage, who's sitting down on the bench press, looking down at his phone.

As if he can sense my stare, he looks up, his eyes landing on me straight away. I grin while he stares at me blankly. At least, that's what it appears. He's too far away for me to tell if he's smiling or not.

I pull out my phone from my hoodie pocket.

Sage

Hey :)

I look up from my phone to see him staring back down at his again. He looks up, and I see him smile. And I know he put extra effort into it since I can see it from here. My heart beats faster at the thought, and I feel giddy inside.

Sage

Its a bit fun
Being sneaky

I watch as he stares at his phone before he looks to be chuckling as he puts his phone away.

I put my phone away too, walking over to Marlow, Diego and Luna who are talking on the side of the gym.

"Beat his ass Morgan, come on!" Marlow cheers as I stare at Diego, my fists raised as we circle each other.

"Make her cry, Diego!" Luna shouts to us, and Diego laughs. "You are both so dramatic".

"The only one crying is Deigo," I tell them, grinning while he glares.

Me and Diego are sparring, while Marlow and Luna watch. We're on the mats that are covering half of the gym. There are multiple pairs surrounding us, punching, kicking and being flipped to the ground.

Elijah says apparently we're all 'too soft'. And we need a couple of punches to toughen us up.

I stare at Diego closely, before stepping forward and throwing a punch I knew he'd dodge.

Like predicted, he threw a punch straight after. I expected it, and I let it hit the side of my temple.

It didn't hurt that much, since we were only sparring, but that doesn't stop me from falling to the floor, face down.

I lay there still on the ground, my eyes closed. "What the fuck Diego!?" Luna yells, running over and kneeling down in front of me, lifting my head.

"How hard did you punch her?!" Marlow scowls, and I glance at Luna, both of us trying to bite back our laughs.
