Morgan's POV
"Sage" I groan, and he rolls his eyes, muttering something while he stares at his phone.
"Sage, I'm sorry" I mumble, standing in front of him while he sits at the edge of his bed. I take a step forward, standing between his legs while I hug his head to my stomach.
"I didn't mean it when I said you're like a cute snow bunny," I say while running my hand through his hair. He scoffs. "It's a metaphor" I blurt out, but he's not convinced.
Sage had to come home last night, and dragged me with him to stay over.
This morning, I was on my phone and saw a picture of a snow bunny in the Arctic. I made the mistake to make a comparison between it and Sage. One that was not appreciated.
"You're not a snow bunny okay? You're a...a...a snow lion" I think quickly, and Sage scoffs again. He's never happy.
His arms wrap around my waist, and I smile, ruffling up his hair. Sage looks up at me, not impressed at all, and I laugh.
He suddenly pulls me down on the bed beside him, and I laugh even more, bouncing slightly as my back hits the mattress. Sage is on top of me in a second and just stares.
"You forgive me?" I ask, and he rolls his eyes before lying on top of me, resting his face in the crook of my neck.
"What's your obsession with lying on top of me?" I groan, trying to wriggle out from underneath him but simply the weight of his body pins me in place.
He ignores my question, and I sigh. "Whatever. I'll just talk till you have such a headache, you move away" I decide, hoping he takes my threat seriously and moves off me now.
Instead, he chuckles. "Good luck with that". I huff, remembering he has some weird condition where he isn't bothered by my talking, and actually finds it interesting.
"When can I start training again?" I ask for the millionth time. I have no doubt Sage has gotten sick of me asking nearly every day for the last three weeks.
"When your hand is healed" Sage mumbles. "When will my hand be healed?" I ask. "Few weeks". I groan, and Sage places a kiss on my neck.
He then gets up off me, and I sit up on my elbows, watching him. "Where are you going?" I mumble. "You can lie on me, I don't actually mind" I assure him. Yes, he squashes me, but it's kinda nice.
He turns his head, chuckling. "I'll lie on you later. I'm going to shower" He says, and my lips form into an 'o'. So I just confessed I like him lying on me when I didn't need to? Great.
He steps into the bathroom, before stopping in the doorway and turning to me, smiling a bit. "I'll leave the door open, in case you want to come say hi," Sage says, as he closes the door over, but doesn't shut it.
I lie back on his bed, staring up at the ceiling as I let out a breath, feeling my face go warm.
I glance at the bathroom door when I hear the shower on.
Should I?
I cover my face with my hands, blushing at the thought.
So many pros and zero cons.
I sit up, staring at the bathroom door.
Why am I so nervous about this? He's fucking has his tongue between my legs, and has seen me naked on more than a few occasions. Now I'm worried about walking into a bathroom- I scoff.
I see something move in the corner of my eye.
Turning, I scream when I see a massive spider, running straight for me on his eight fucking furry legs!
