Morgan's POV
Sage opens my car door, flashing me a charming smile as he does so. I laugh, jumping down out of his truck while he closes the door behind me.
Taking my hand in his, we walk towards the door to his family's house. It's quiet when we walk inside, and Sage leaves me to go talk to Jay. I stand by the front door, waiting for him.
"Morgan!" I look, seeing Quinn rushing down the stairs with a grin on her face.
I smile at her, while she runs over and grabs my arms. "I told him" She whispers, and I gasp. "Really?!" I whisper-yell. "What did he say?".
"He stared at me for twenty minutes before smiling and hugging me. He's so excited- it all worked out like you said" Quinn smiles, and I hug her tightly. "I'm so happy for you both" I sigh.
She laughs and pulls away. "We're gonna hold off on telling everyone for a while," She says, and I nod. "Got it". Quinn smiles, kissing my cheek just as Sage comes back.
"I'll leave you two. Bye Morgan! Bye Sage" She smiles at us both before running back upstairs. Sage watches her go.
"What was that about?" He asks. "I gave her my smoothie recipe" I shrug, and he chuckles, taking my hand and leading me outside.
Me and Sage are going on a job together. I don't know why he chose to go with me, and not one of his highly trained brothers, but Im not complaining.
I'm very excited. I've never been on a job with him, and I doubt it'll be a regular thing. So I'm making the most of our tiny little job today.

We stop in front of a house, one that looks abandoned since all the windows are boarded up, and there's ivy growing all over the outside walls.
I get out of the car, staring at the house closely.
Sage suddenly pulls me back by the belt loops on my jeans, and I make a noise of surprise that we don't speak of.
Sage tucks a gun in the back waistband of my jeans, before crouching down. He slides a knife into the side of my boot, before standing back up slowly, trailing his hands up my leg as he does so.
"Not the place Sage" I scowl a bit, but all he does is chuckle as he kisses my head. He hands me another gun, one to hold, before he finally seems happy.
"What exactly are we doing here again?" I ask as Sage grabs another gun for himself. "This is an old safe house. Hasn't been used in years. This morning its location got leaked. We have to clear it out before anyone gets to it" Sage says, and I nod.
"Will you believe me if I say I see a trap door?" I ask, and he smiles. "Of course I will," He tells me, kissing my temple. I laugh.
We walk to the door, and Sage tries the handle. The door opens with a creak that has me wince, and we both quietly walk inside.
Sage closes the door behind me, before turning to me. "I'm going to grab something upstairs. Find the office down here. There should be a laptop in the bottom drawer of the desk. Grab it and meet me upstairs" Sage says, and I nod, smiling a bit.
Sage pecks my lips, smiling before he heads towards the stairs. I start checking rooms until I find the office on the third try.
It's pretty plain. Just a desk and a chair. Walking over to the desk, I open the bottom drawer, seeing it's empty. I frown in confusion.
