Morgan's POV
I slowly open my eyes, letting out a yawn as I start to wake up. I'm quick to realise I have my head resting on Sage's chest, while his arms are wrapped around me.
He's wearing a black shirt and black cargo pants- his usual work clothes. Looking up, I see his eyes are closed.
I'm guessing he fell back asleep when holding me. I smile at the thought. He's been getting more sleep now. Every night he gets at least five hours, which is great compared to how it used to be.
I carefully try to remove his hands from around me, but he only tightens his grip. When I look up again, I see his eyes are now open. "Morning" I smile and am rewarded with a kiss to my forehead.
"Do you have work?" I ask him quietly since we're both still waking up. Sage hums in response. "Then go," I tell him, but he just groans.
I laugh as I get up. He lets go of me, allowing me to move and get out of bed.
I'm only in my bra and underwear for whatever reason, so I grab some shorts and one of Sage's shirts from our closet. I put my hair back messily while I walk out of the closet, and I see Sage still on the bed.
I chuckle before going down the stairs. Sage follows close behind me, all the way to the kitchen. I stop and turn just in front of the kitchen island. "Sage, go," I tell him.
He groans, wrapping his arms around me and hugging me while pressing me against the kitchen island.
"Dude," I say, and he scoffs. He removes his arms from around me, placing them on the counter on either side of me, caging me in
"It's so fun to annoy you" I can't help but grin, while he rolls his eyes. "Now go to work," I tell him, and he sighs dramatically like the big baby he really is.
"At least let me go," I say, but he doesn't move, just stares at me. "I need to make a smoothie. You know how much I need my morning smoothie" I say, and the corner of his lip turns up into an amused smile.
"Did I ever tell you about the time I nearly killed my grandfather with a blender?" I ask, and he hums. I smile. It's a really interesting story. I'm glad he knows it already.
"Let me go or Im gonna go fighter girl on your ass," I say with a playful glare, while Sage raises his eyebrows, calling my bluff.
I huff, looking him up and down.
I was bluffing. Fuck him.
I don't know how to get out of this.
"Remember your training Morgan" Sage whispers close to my ear, and I feel my face slightly heat up.
I certainly don't remember getting pinned to a countertop by an overly attractive man in my training. I must have been sick that day.
Sage grabs me and spins me around, before placing a hand on my upper back and pushing me down, bending me over the counter.
I feel him lean down. "You froze up" Sage whispers, and I huff. I know that. But I'm not too disappointed.
"You can't freeze up Morgan. We'll work on that tomorrow" He tells me. If it ends in me being bent over a countertop then consider me excited.
Unable to help myself, I push my ass back against the front of his pants, and he lets out a low groan that has goosebumps rising all over. "Go to work," I tell him, smiling at myself.
"Brat" He mutters, his hand moving onto my ass, and I wonder if he's actually going to-
The doorbell suddenly rings, and I laugh. "Saved by the bell" I smile, while he steps back. I stand up straight, turning to see Sage walking towards the door. "Just you wait" I hear him mutter.
