A Crazy Court Case (Part 4)

As Yugi and his group were wondering what else could happen, they noticed that other people were behaving strangely, and said that Carol and Jimmy were too stupid to notice that there was corruption going on under their noses. "HEY!" Kelly yelled, annoyed. "How is that POSSIBLE?! I'm pretty sure that they get figured out at some point, so GET YOUR STUPID FACTS STRAIGHT!" Tea nodded in agreement, as she thought those people were crazy and idiotic. "What I would give to get the heck out of here," Tea said. Yuya nodded in agreement as they all left. 

"We still need to expose Ray for what he's doing to Belle, but so far, he seems to be a good puppeteer," Jin said, sighing. "And I'm nervous for her mental and emotional well-being." Yugi nodded with the others, seeing that Jimmy and Carol knew that they would have to look for corrupt cops and fire them for misconduct. Lisa and Jake did the same thing as they left. Kaiba and Valeria knew that they would have to deal with other stuff on their end, as they went with Mokuba and Guinevere. 

Yugi got a quick text from Carol, saying that if anything else were to happen, to let her know and that she and Jimmy would be there. Kelly also got the same text, and both said that they will give the heads up, though everyone was still nervous. "I'm still scared," Yugi said. "I don't know if I can handle a situation like this." Kelly nodded, as she was also terrified. "Same," Kelly agreed. "Atem, Nephthys, PLEASE do what you have to do if Lisa and Carol are unable to help!" The two of them hugged each other, as they were scared out of their wits. Tea and Yuya joined in. 

"Don't worry, Yugi," Nephthys reassured Yugi. "You and Kelly will be safe, no matter what." Alexander, Yuya's duel partner, nodded in agreement with Yuya. "DUDE!" Yuya replied. "Ya got ATEM for crying out loud! There is no WAY he'd let those situations slide past him!" Tea nodded in agreement with Mana, trying to get Kelly to calm down as well. "And you got his female counterpart!" Mana and Tea told Kelly at the same time. Yugi and Kelly had to admit they were being a bit stupid. "DOPE!" Yugi and Kelly said, facepalming themselves. Tea sighed in relief with Yuya. 

"Good thing we got that settled!" Yuya told the others as they looked around, seeing a bunch of crazy fans.  Yugi looked at the others as they pulled the old ditch card and got away from the crazy fans. "God, they're nuts!" Yuya said. "They seriously need to control themselves!" Yugi nodded as he got a text from Carol. Kelly also saw her text from Lisa, as both she and Yugi explained the whole situation involving the crazy fans, knowing that they could help in that department. 

Yugi suddenly saw Ray with the others, wondering what plan he might have in mind. "I hope he doesn't plan on making us vanish," Yugi said to Tea. "He seems scary." Tea nodded, and knew that this could tick off Belle should that happen, as Belle was close to her family, and would not be okay with that, but didn't really trust Ray, as anything could happen, so had her guard up with everyone. 

"He could be working with some people," Kelly said. "We need to inform Carol and the rest of our group." Yugi nodded and had a group chat, informing them what he saw with Kelly since there was a good chance Ray was up to no good. Jin texted back that this was bad and that if it was true, they were in real danger. Yugi snapped a picture of Ray and sent it on the group chat as Tea recorded what was being said, both sending it on the group text. 

Jellia texted that they should be careful in case Ray had someone attack them, as she was worried as well. Kelly texted that she understood and sent a rolling eye emoji, meaning that she also knew that both Atem and Nephthys were not the type of spirits you'd want to anger. Mai agreed to this, commenting on the only idiots that were arrested were Noah and Vanessa. After they finished texting, they saw Ray leave. Yugi figured, that, for safety measures, it would be better to let someone else handle it. "Yeah," Joey agreed. "It's getting worse." 

As Ray was out of view, Carol and Jimmy spotted him and followed behind, wondering what he was up to, as Lisa and Jake caught up to help out. "There's a chance someone from Paradise City knows him," Lisa guessed. "If so, this could put both Yugi and Kelly in danger." Carol knew what Lisa meant, and hoped that this wasn't true, as she didn't want that to happen, nor did Jimmy as they all followed Ray behind.
