Goombario's Log Day 40: After exploring the rest of the jungle, we found the last three Yoshi kids. One of them was stranded on an island, one was being attacked by piranha plants, and the other was just sleeping in a tree. At the very least, we got them back to the village safely. But we still don't have a way to access Mt. Lavalava though. Fortunately, this "Raphael the Raven' seems to be our key getting across. Let's hope he can lend us a hand.
Kooper's Log Day 35: Today I learned what a Yoshi's foot looks like. No, I'm serious. Yoshi's wear shoes that cover their actual feet. And apparently their feet look like these creatures on a box of Nerds. I will never be the same after this.
Bombette's Log Day 34: Wahoo! Sushie's joining us on our adventure permanently! I knew she'd come around and now we're an official party of 7. 4 girls and 3 boys. I kind of hope we don't meet another boy partner so the girls can be dominant here, but we'll see.
Parakarry's Log Day 29: Thank the stars those kids are safe. I'd hate to tell Dane T. that the little red Yoshi kid got killed in the jungle. But thankfully, everything worked out in the end. Now comes the journey to find Raphael the Raven who can help us get to Mt. Lavalava.
Bow's Log Day 18: Finally, we're out of the jungle. No joke, my bows were completely soaked just from traveling. I had to wring them out just to put them back on. They're still pretty damp but at least they're not super wet.
Watt's Log Day 8: Yay! We found the Yoshi's! Now we need to find a bird. I can't wait to meet him! Hopefully he can get us to the volcano.
Captain Sushie's Log Day 2: Avast me partners! Upon hearing of Mario's true intentions to defeat Bowser, I decided to throw me hat into the ring and join him. Trust me, he'll be needing me to cross the water ways and find Raphael the Raven. I've heard many a tales of the bird. Some say he grew so large he became bigger than the moon he did. Such are legends though, but the Raven be real I tell ye. So, let us set sail to find him. Tally ho!
just after getting the Jade Raven
Sushie: Wait up mateys. I be accompanying you on your adventure fully now.
Bombette: Really! Awesome!
Karry: Trust us, it's never a dull moment with us around. You're gonna have a lot of fun.
Bow: Interesting. From what you said I didn't think you would come.
Sushie: As if I'd just leave ya. Always help those who help you. That be the second rule of the Captain's Code. looks at Goombario First mate! Write that down right now!
Goombario: Uh, yes. Right away. starts writing
Kooper: Captain's Code? What's all that about?
Sushie: You see, I come from a long line of Cheep Cheeps known for ravaging the seas of the Mushroom Kingdom. We were outlaws who worked for no one and stole only for ourselves. And as for me, let it be clear I've had me fair share of scuffles in the past.
Watt: Then, um, why are you watching children?
Sushie: That little lassie, is a tale for another day. But just to give ye something to go off of, I settled down. The sea life was great for this once young-spirited fish. But one day, I found a new life's calling. You'll understand later.
Watt: Ok.
Sushie: Now then, what we be standin' around for? hops on Goombario's head First mate! Onward to the jungle! The great Raphael the Raven beckons us to him.
Goombario: trying to balance Sushie on his head Uh, alright? Let's go. does his best to walk to the jungle
Bow: Should we do something about this?
Bombette and Kooper: No. We heard what he said about fish. He'll be fine.
Karry: If you say so.
