Goombario: Phew. Finally. It's over.
Kooper: We, we did.
Bombette: We actually freaking did it!
Karry: The final Star Spirit.
Bow: It's finally ours.
Watt: And with all seven of them now.
Sushie: Bowser won't stand a chance against us.
Lester: Let's grab it and get out of here!
Mario goes to collect the card, only for it to turn into a Duplighost
Everyone: What the...!?!
Duplighost: Hahahaaaaa! Fooled ya! You really though we'd just give the final Star Spirit up that easily?
Goombario: You.
Duplighost: No. turns into Goombario You@.
Everyone else: gasps!
suddenly 7 more Duplighosts come in and transform into the rest of the partners
Kooper: Well, well, well#. Look what we have here folks#.
Bombette: A little game of who's who$.
Goombario: You want this Star Spirit so bad@? Then fight us to find out which of us is carrying it@.
Lester: This is trippy man. They look exactly like us.
Goombario: Well I mean, some of them do look slightly better than you guys and...
Bow: Goombario I am this close to slapping you.
Goombario: Duly noted.
Bombette: Well at the very least, our Goombario has an eyepatch on unlike the faker over there.
Goombario: Wait, that's it! Sushie! Do you have anymore eyepatches?
Sushie: Let me check. searches A ha! Here. Everyone put these on. If we get lost in the scuffle, we'll know who we all are.
everyone puts on an eyepatch
Kooper: There. Now we can tell the real ones from the fakers over there.
Karry: Fakers%?
Bow: I think you're the fake partners around here^.
Watt: You're comparing yourselves to us&?
Sushie: chuckles+
Lester: You're not even good enough to be our fakes_.
Goombario: We'll make you eat those words. Attack!!!
the two sides duke it out amongst themselves with each partner battling their copies. Goombario's are head bonking, Kooper's are wrestling, Bombette's are charging, Karry's are kickboxing, Bow's are slapping, Watt's are dashing, Sushie's are engaged in sword combat, and Lester's are throwing spinys at themselves. After a couple of minutes, both sides are at a standstill
Real partners: heavy breathing
Bombette: These guys are good. Really good.
Kooper: I can't even tell if I've made a dent in myself.
Goombario: Face it chumps@! You can't stop us by yourselves@. So just turn back and give up@!
Watt: Absolutely not! I've come too far to back down now! And I'm not gonna let a bunch of fakers like you get in our way!
Bow: Oh shut up you little baby boy!
Watt: shocked, starts getting angry
Lester: Watt. Look at me. It's time.
Watt: cools down a bit You're right.
Lester: Hey! You guys! That thing you said about us not beating you by ourselves, you're right. Because we don't fight alone.
Watt: shines bright and blinds the fakers for a few seconds
Lester: Let's get some altitude now.
Watt: Right.
Karry: Guys, what are you doing?
Lester: Trust me Karry. We know what we're doing. Just get ready to brace yourselves, it's about to crazy up here.
Karry: Ok. I trust you. Kooper! In your shell, now! Bow! Out of sight the others!
Bow: On it.
everyone braces for impact while Lester and Watt prepare
Watt: Ok. Heading inside to charge up. heads inside Lester's cloud and begins making static shocks, agitating the cloud
Lester: Ok then. Discharging in 3, 2, 1, FIRE!
Lester pounds down on the cloud sending shockwaves over the mountain and shocking all the Duplighosts there and incapacitating them, besides the fake Watt
Watt: looks around Ha&! I'm resistant to lightning you i...
Karry and Bow proceed to slap and shell shot the fake Watt. And after that Duplighost falls, the final Star Spirit cards falls out and into Mario's hands
Lester: We, we did it.
Watt: Yippee! We did it!
Goombario: Guys! That was awesome!
Kooper: I've never seen something like that before in my life!
Bombette: You guys looked incredible.
Lester: Yeah. I guess I finally found my strength today.
Watt: Hey, it's the least I could do for helping me find my character as well.
Sushie: Such a fascinating site that was. What ye call that move?
Lester: Uh? Partner, Play?
Goombario: Awesome! Hey, Sushie. Do you think we could come up with a Partner Play as well?
Sushie: I don't see why not laddie. The captain and her first mate working together as a team.
Bombette: Yeah. What do you say Kooper? Want to work on a Partner Play together?
Kooper: Of course.
Bow: Well we can't let you guys have all the fun here. Looks like we've got to come up with a Partner Play as well Karry Berry.
Karry: Then we'll have to make it the best one of all time.
Watt: What just happened?
Lester: I think we just started a revolution. But hey, I'm just glad to have started it with you. Thanks for all the help Watt.
Watt: You too Lester.
Lester: And with all the Star Spirits saved, all I can say now is,
"Now here we go it's the end of the show. Here them they're calling your name. Cause in the end, it's you and your friends. You'll find your flame".
