Goombario's Log Day 42: We ventured further into Mt. Lavalava and found some interesting things. Such as a new hammer for Mario, a Super Block to level up Bow, and found out Kolorado is a giant fraud. Seriously, he sucks at his job. I kind of feel bad for Kooper.
Kooper's Log Day 37: Welp, looks like karma finally caught up with Mario and his danger strats as he got a game over, sending him back to Raphael the Raven. And ironically, after the reset we got a life shroom. I hope this means he won't do this again. Right?
Bombette's Log Day 36: Can you believe what Mario said about me? 'I'm completely outclassed by Sushie' says the guy that got his amp kicked by some enemies shortly after. But hey, at least I'm good against fire enemies.
Parakarry's Log Day 31: So, after all this time, I finally got to give Kolorado his letter, while he was crushed by a boulder and super loopy. I mean, at least he liked the letter, but I sure as shell have never seen that before.
Bow's Log Day 20: What the shell is my fan made of? I'm now able to whack people with it, including fire enemies, and literal enemies of fire and it doesn't burn. I won't complain, I'll just question it.
Watt's Log Day 10: Wow! This volcano is cool! I mean hot. You know what I mean. Can't wait to save the star spirit here!
Captain Sushie's Log Day 4: Why tickle me gills, but this sure be a problem. I can't seem to master me tidal wave move as I used to back in the day. I recall washing up many a enemies up with, but this ol' Cheep Cheep can't seem to do it right now. But mark me words, I'll master it again before this journey is over.
just before opening the treasure chest with the Ultra Hammer
Karry: ... and that's basically what happened between Bombette and Kooper.
Sushie: Ah, I see. A Bob-omb with an eye only for the glitter, and not the gold itself. I've seen many a Cheeps Cheeps who desire for treasure had steered them away from the real one. And this Bob-omb be no different if ye correct.
Bow: Yup. Kind of pathetic if you ask me.
Kooper: Hey guys! Over here!
the three walk over to the chest
Watt: What's inside?
Goombario: It could be dangerous?
Sushie: Nonsense. Open a chest, it might turn out great. Until then, it's just a crate. That be the 4th rule of the Captain's Code. First mate! Open the chest!
Goombario: If you say so. zelda chest opening music plays
You got the Ultra Hammer!
Sushie: See, that wasn't so bad.
Bombette: Guess not. And now we can break metal blocks with it.
Mario: Yahoo! breaks a metal block
Sushie: Nice work there first mate. Keep this up, and ye might just learn the great Rule 5 of the Captain's Code. A code said to be shrouded in mystery. Some say it ain't real, others say it was never finished, but it all be hogwash. I know what the great Rule 5 is, and ye may just be lucky to hear it.
Goombario: Sounds, fascinating.
Sushie: Right then, hops on Goombario Onward!
Goombario: wobbling If you say so. walks on
after leaving Kolorado on the ground
Bombette: ... Hey, Kooper.
Kooper: You're talking to me now, you're about to say something mean to me aren't you?
Bombette: Not quite. I have something to say about Kolorado. He's a phony. A big, fat phony. He's a scaredy pants coward who couldn't find treasure if it stabbed him in the eye. And you're the only one too blind to see it. I don't know what you see in him, but if there's one thing I can say, is that you two are basically the same. Two big knucklehead idiots that rush headfirst into danger with no thought whatsoever. walks off
Kooper: ... starts to think it's true
Sushie: while still on Goombario leans in to Bombette Ya know, sometimes our greatest heroes are the ones who aren't the smartest, brightest, or strongest. It means nothing if ye got the biggest muscles or the biggest brain, but it takes a true hero to know what ta do to save the people they care for. I've learned that throughout me travels, and me greatest adversaries were the ones who put their crew's lives above their own. That's what makes a hero. And me gills tells me that when we're in danger, that there Koopa will come to our rescue.
Bombette: looks back at Kooper We'll see.
